#mastodon once had a feature to suppress repeat boosts so they don't keep appearing in feeds....where did that go? It was built with a fixed threshold, I think it was 30, so the boost would only appear 1 in 30 times, which was pretty effective...

I'm watching Novara Media's show reporting on the mass starvation of Gazans while hearing blue angels fly above me rehearsing for their annual show this weekend.
The machines intended for terrorizing people around the world used for some people's entertainment, but they have a much different effect on me.
I hear the sound of them breaking the air and my heart skips a beat, my brain freezes and my muscles tense up.
Every now and then a tear escapes my eyes.
