…die mir und dir und ihnen erklären, wie bitter enttäuscht der werte herr US-präsident und FIFA-friedenspreisträger Donald Trump von der NATO ist, versäumen es immer, dabei auch zu erklären, was die abk. NATO eigentlich schon vom wortsinn her bedeutet: nordatlantisches verteidigungsbündnis. Nicht „kriegsbund“. Der zweck ist gegenseitige militärische hilfe, wenn ein mitgliedsstaat angegriffen wird. Diese jornalisten sind teil des problems und nicht seiner lösung.
Aber genau diese jornalisten haben uns ja schon jahrzehntelang vorher bei jeder gelegenheit erzählt, dass die NATO irgendwas mit demokratie, freiheit und recht sei, nur weil das so schön feierlich im präambelgebammsel steht. Die NATO ist was mit gegenseitigem militärischen beistand, wenn ein mitgliedsland so überfallen wird, wie es gerade die USA in einem verbrecherischen angriffskrieg mit dem iran tun. Der rest drumherum ist unverbindliche volxverarschung. Grüße auch in die türkei!

The Ethics of AI in Writing
There was a discussion recently on an editors’ group about whether to work on AI-generated content or not. Everyone who commented, more than 70 people, said that they would not.
Some of the editors refused to be the ones who would “put the humanity” into the words since that should be the responsibility of the person who would ultimately benefit from the text. Others commented that the text was often not up to a standard they would accept anyway, AI-generated or not.
The discussion was pertinent since Hachette cancelled a novel recently that was said to have been written at least partly by AI. The author claims that an editor friend had introduced these AI generated parts of the text.
