It happened again last week. I was at an architecture review meeting when a fellow architect eagerly started another debate about *microservices*. Within minutes, eyes glazed over and we were knee-deep in an absurd discussion about something that should have been a means to an end, but had morphed into the end itself. #LinkedIn ha rimosso le protezioni relative alle persone transgender dalla sua politica sui contenuti diffamatori e denigratori. La piattaforma non elenca più "misgendering o deadnaming di persone transgender" come esempi di condotta proibita . Mentre "contenuti che attaccano, denigrano, intimidiscono, disumanizzano, incitano o minacciano odio, violenza, azioni pregiudizievoli o discriminatorie" sono ancora considerati odiosi, rivolgersi a una persona con un genere e un nome che chiede di non usare non lo è più.
Allo stesso modo, la piattaforma ha rimosso "razza o identità di genere" dagli esempi di tratti intrinseci per i quali i commenti negativi sono considerati molestie. Tale qualifica di molestia è ora mantenuta solo per comportamenti che "denigrano attivamente il genere percepito di un altro membro [...]", senza più menzionare razza o identità di genere.
La data dell'"ultimo aggiornamento" dei Contenuti di odio e dispregiativi è stata aggiornata, ma il servizio non ha comunicato pubblicamente questa modifica nel suo blog Trust & Safety, come ha fatto ad esempio per descrivere come ha migliorato l'applicazione delle sue linee guida della community su larga scala.

Ich befürchte, dass das #Bundesgericht damit daran schraubt, dass künftig auch für Ergänzungsleistungsbeziehende das tiefere Existenzminimum der #Sozialhilfe gelten soll.
Nebst dem, dass die #Beistandspflicht beim Sozialhilfebezug von Eheleuten auch auf Konkubinatspaare ausgeweitet wird.
In der #Schweiz wird nicht die Situation aller nach oben hin verbessert, sondern nach unten verschlechtert.
Da die Schweiz die #Sozialcharta des #Europarat|es nicht ratifiziert hat, wird das so bleiben!

Experimenting with baked lighting and transparency in Godot. The most ideal settings I could find were a little underwhelming, either making everything with 50% alpha or greater solid, and anything below transparent. Tried making two slightly overlapping hemispheres (red and blue) to make purple light, but the two overlapping transparent meshes seems to result in no transparency, but you can see on the ambient walls that the bounce lighting is adequately violet.

When I find a new open source project, my first impulse is to find the actual source code and take a look. With a small one, it's not a problem, I probably found it through GitHub or whatever already. With a project big enough to have a website promoting it... The link is usually weirdly hard to find. It's so odd. On some corporate-backed project websites your best bet is to look for the GitHub icon next to the social media ones, which… Like, why???

Guten Morgen beste Timeline auf Mastodon nee, im #Fediverse 
Heute letzter Urlaubstag und der wird mehr Mut Packen und Fahren verbracht. So sit das leider, wenn der Urlaub sich dem Ende nähert.
Wobei, letzter Tag stimmt auch nicht. Morgen müssen wir noch mal den ganzen Tag Auto fahren, um zu Hause anzukommen. Heute noch mal England, morgen dann Niederlande und Deutschland.
Gestern noch eine lange Wanderung ohne Kinder gemacht und zusammen dann, die letzte einkaufstour durch ein Sainsburys gemacht, um LEBENSNOTWENDIGE Dinge einzukaufen, die es bei uns nicht gibt.
In der Nacht hat UK schon geweint und Tränen vom Himmel fallen lassen. Gestern hatten wir noch mal 25 Grad u d ein Gebühren des Abschiedsessen, wie sich das gehört. Bei den Kindern gab es da überhaupt keine Diskussion 😉
Irgend wie haben wir die wohl infiziert 😁
Das ganze in einer der alten typische. chipie Buden, die wir selber so noch kennen von Früher und die immer seltener werden
Jetzt heißt es Familie aus den Schlafsäcken holen, Frühstück und dann aufräumen, packen und verladen.
