Deputy (https://github.com/hgrsd/deputy) now allows you to specify a path to your AI/LLM configuration markdown file, so you can tweak its behaviour. This is in addition to the defaults that it tries to read.
Want to give it a try? `cargo install deputy` and you're ready to go (provided you have an OpenAI or Anthropic API key, or a local OpenAI or Anthropic-compatible API that you can use, e.g. through ollama).
To be clear, this project has mostly been a way for me to get my feet wet in how these types of AI assistants work and to get some concrete experience with API consumption and tool calling as a client. That said, it's always fun to write a CLI using Rust and it's actually starting to prove very usable.

@BlumeEvolution Gerade heute Morgen war im #SWR ein Feature über das Problem der globalen Überproduktion von Kunststoffen (aus #Mineralöl) ( #PFAS , etc.) und die Enegrie, mit welcher Lobbyisten gegen die Eindämmung vorgehen, mit mittlerweile verheerenden Folgen. D.h.der Kampf ist gegen das #Erdöl - System ist zwar notwendig, aber der stete Aufruf und Hinweis drauf hilft nicht kurz- und mittelfristig, gerade, wo die #USA als Mitstreiter ausgefallen und zu Gegnern geworden sind. Das ist vermutlich nicht einmal Pessimismus, sondern Anerkennung des Faktischen.
Der Ruf nach dem Stopp der Finanzierung von Terror über das Öl ist richtig und notwendig , aber - nicht falsch verstehen - im Zusammenhang mit der Gaza-Katastrophe auch naïve. Natürlich frage ich mich auch, woher die Hamas überhaupt noch Munition erhält?
Aber selbst, wenn die EU Iran vollständig ausklammern würde - würde sich in Gaza vermutlich genau nichts ändern. Wenn man den Quellen glauben darf, wird die #Hamas auch direkt finanziert.
Und neben dieser Umwegfinazierung gibt es noch das Problem der Dual-Use-Güter und da hat Deutschland erst in letzter Zeit, auf Druck der EU, nachgebessert. Und dann die direkten Waffenlieferungen (natürlich nicht an Unrechtregime).
Das "Merz entsetzt" war, heißt entwerder, er weiß nicht was los ist (das wäre schlecht), oder es ist reines Theater (das wäre dann eine Lüge). Aber gegen Bibi scheint er sich immer noch nicht positionieren zu wollen (was würde passieren, wenn er weg ist?); Herr Wadephul hatte ein paar deutlichere Worte gefunden.
Allerdings haben #Jupiter und #Starmer auch nur die Anerkennung von Palästina als Antwort ... es ist zum verzweifeln.
