I've been busy over the weekend and am now trying to catch up on, like, a thousand unread messages in ... which is absolute torture.

Notifications, threaded conversations, and "unread messages" feel completely broken -- at least in my beloved MacOS client.

When I'm able to update the inbox in , it'll be a top priority to make something that handles complex messaging *at least as well* as my Mail client does.

... now where's that big pad of drawing paper?

Habe erst zwei Folgen gesehen, und habe das Gefühl einer Sensation beizuwohnen. Was die Ösis in den 70ern mit “Kottan” geschafft haben, dazu gibt es ein schwyzerdeutsches Gegenstück: “Tschugger”. 3sat bietet drei der insgesamt vier Staffeln an, in kurzweilige 30-Minuten-Folgen gestaffelt. Und nur bis zum 3.9. verfügbar. Beim Schweizer Fernsehen wird Bezahlung mit persönlichen Daten verlangt, hier auch mit der 4. Staffel.

Mir ist unbegreiflich, dass eine TV-Anstalt, die das mit Hilfe dieser Produktionsfirma realisiert hat, so langweilige Tatorte liefert. Schade um das schöne Geld. Für Tschugger haben sich die Investitionen gelohnt.

Ach und übrigens: unsere medienpolitisch allseitig gebildeten – und leider auch gesetzlich zuständigen – deutschen Ministerpräsident*inn*en wollen uns den anbietenden TV-Sender 3sat wegnehmen, im Auftrag der AfD. Denken Sie daran bei Ihrer nächsten Landtagswahl.

Imagine if labour unions were federated entities, in the #fediverse. They would sort of be like medieval guilds, with their own internally-decided-upon initiation rituals, and standards to live up to. Like there would be one for all C programmers, one for all rust #programmers, one for all #devops, etc. A person with multiple skills could be in multiple unions. Just like it is currently possible to have multiple #Mastodon accounts on multiple instances.

Project offers by #corporations are given to unions, who provide little bands of consultants, having successfully bid on the contracts.

The beauty here would be to avoid all HR people in the transactions (they would be middlemen cut out of all transactions), and who is earning what percentage of what money would be kept transparent - never hidden.

It's at least the second time that I see maintainers of "#opensource" be actively and strongly upset that people (as in other free/open source devs, not big corps) actually make use of the licensing terms that they gave to their software.

It's just baffling to me. Is it that people don't understand the implications of the licenses they choose? That they never actually believed in the freedoms they gave but just thought it sounded sexy somehow, wanting to have their cake and eat it too?

Eine kleine Info bzgl kommender Let's Plays von mir.
Ich habe beschlossen, dass wenn ich Spiele mit HDR Support letsplaye, standardmäßig die Folgen in HDR zur Verfügung zu stellen.
Mittlerweile ist HDR nämlich glaube ich auch im Gaming ganz gut angekommen.

Für Legacy Hardware & Software wird es weiterhin wie auch in der Vergangenheit die SDR Versionen meiner Folgen geben.
Diese werden allerdings nur über Direktlink via Videobeschreibung verfügbar sein.
