The image viewer in Mastodon v4.4 is in some areas improved but the scrolling behaviour itself is worse than in v4.3. Scrolling input should take effect immediately with minimal delay. It never needs damping. Currently it’s just irritatingly sluggish. Ideally momentum should be retained when the user suddenly lifts up their finger (which is achieved for free if you let the system and the browser handle it).

Ob der Jacobin-Autor das britische Mehrheitswahlrecht überhaupt kennt? Ist ja nur ‘ne Atommacht. Und wird gewiss vom Grossen Bruder wohlgefällig verfolgt. Bei dem geht es gerade so zu:

Warum beschreibt Martens das so ausführlich? Weil es hierzulande – und nicht erst fünf Jahre später – längst parallel läuft. Ich schalte zwar immer noch die 20-Uhr-Tagesschau an, aber ertappe mich dabei, dass ich die sparsamen 15 Minuten sehr gerne zum Klogang nutze, weil ich gerne was verpasse. Wenn es um Kriegstüchtigkeit geht, dann läuft es exakt so.

second, privacy and security settings? lol don't make me laugh. you don't actually know what the client is collecting when you use it. it's offen not open source, and offen still is able to gather data on you in other ways.
or it could just saay off, but actually be on.
the only way to *truely* regane privacy would be to use #selfhosted applications and open source apps.
