I had a weird experience with #LinkedIn and cycbersecurity that forced me back onto the Bird site last week. Actually it started in 2023.
My site got hacked and everything changed to Cyrillic alphabet (Russian language) with pictures of a pretty woman all over. At some point, when I realized this was happening, I was able to change my name but I could not log in. I changed the name to "This site has been hacked" and the other person never changed it back. I would always get emails addressed to Hacked. I had the email affiliated with the account, and they had changed the password. I should have been able to get a new password sent to me, but not with #LinkedIn. ...a🧵

Cognitive fog is getting thicker with each passing day as is my vision growing darker and fuzzier and making it harder to read or do anything that requires sight based focus, my hands hurt and have lost a great deal of strength and dexterity, my legs constantly both ache and hurt along with constant burning through out as my feet are often cold, more often than not my skin is hot while my insides are cold, as my thermo regulator is broken, my anxiety is up and my patients towards others is dwindling, as I type this my fingers struggle to strike the correct keys, my mind finds it hard to spell correctly and the words all look like a fuzzy blur, for time and age have never been kind to me and with each passing day it is more and more a feat of will just to get through the day, all the while the world around either can not see nor cares for the decline of my being;

More than 1y ago I created a vala file typing "using GLib;", today that file is part of a new DE in GTK4 running on top of the labwc compositor.
I love Open Source thanks to it, directly or not, I am running a pc with everything I like, the way I like. Everything from the libs to the apps is exactly how I need 🤩

Que la gente de mi Uni (Docentes) no sepan acerca de alternativas libres (Libreoffice, onlyoffice, gimp, inkscape, krita) para no tener que emplear y decir "haganlo en canva o en Word". No todos podemos comprar suites y cuando les digo ciertos nombres de alternativas me miran como "queseso?".
Me recuerdo cuando les dije que usaba tuta como proveedor de correo, se reían sobre el tema, ya que todos usan Gmail.

In its most basic form players can just say e4 and the other player responds with ie. e5...so communicating chess moves is super easy if both players keep track of their own chessboards.
I just tend to over-complicate things sometimes 😂
