Playing around with setting socket.IPV6_RECVPKTINFO in #Python, which is useful for UDP-based listeners to get the local address a datagram is sent to.
From what I can tell in my initial testing, the PKTINFO structure contains the address, but not the interface index like I thought it should. I don't care about the interface index in this case but I'm wondering why I only get the 16-byte v6 address part of the ancillary data.
e.g., struct.unpack('!16s', ...) works while !20s fails. Where is the unsigned int ipi6_ifindex?

How does e.g. "tmux" do its "switch screen" stuff, and can I do it with #Python + Rich? I've found "pymux", which appears to be emulating vt100 in Python ... and then I guess re-rendering to the "real" screen? Is that what #tmux does (too much C for me to grok)?

Typisch amerikanisch: Quick and dirty. ChatGPT hatte eine Funktion eingebaut, die es Benutzer/inne/n ermöglicht, ihre "Dialoge" mit der KI mit anderen zu teilen. Aber "Jemand" bei OpenAI hat dabei nicht weit genug gedacht, oder einen Fehler bei der Konfiguration gemacht. Vielleicht war der "Fehler" auch Absicht. Jedenfalls führte er dazu, dass "tausende" Chats mit sensiblen Inhalten auch von öffentlichen Suchmaschinen erreichbar waren und jetzt in Suchergebnissen auftauchen. Erste Sahne.
