Google ogłosiło w piątek gruntowną przebudowę swojego serwisu finansowego, Google Finance.
Platforma, która do tej pory dostarczała głównie podstawowe informacje o notowaniach i wiadomości biznesowe, zostanie wzbogacona o zaawansowane funkcje oparte na sztucznej inteligencji. Celem jest nie tylko konkurowanie z popularnymi serwisami, takimi jak Yahoo Finance, ale również zatrzymanie użytkowników w ekosystemie Google.
Najważniejszą nowością jest integracja AI, która pozwoli użytkownikom zadawać złożone pytania w języku naturalnym i otrzymywać na nie kompleksowe, wygenerowane przez sztuczną inteligencję odpowiedzi, wraz z linkami do odpowiednich źródeł. Zamiast ręcznie wyszukiwać i porównywać dane wielu spółek, będzie można poprosić o interesujące nas zestawienie w jednym poleceniu.
Usługa zyska również zaawansowane narzędzia do tworzenia wykresów, które umożliwią wizualizację danych finansowych w znacznie szerszym zakresie niż dotychczas. Użytkownicy będą mogli nanosić na wykresy wskaźniki analizy technicznej, takie jak średnie kroczące, czy zmieniać widok na tzw. wykresy świecowe, co z pewnością docenią bardziej zaawansowani inwestorzy.
Aktualizacja rozszerza także zakres dostępnych danych rynkowych – od teraz w Google Finance znajdą się również notowania towarów oraz dodatkowych kryptowalut. Kolejną nowością jest wprowadzenie kanału informacyjnego na żywo (live news feed), który będzie w czasie rzeczywistym dostarczał nagłówki z najważniejszymi wiadomościami rynkowymi.
Ruch Google ma wyraźnie strategiczny charakter. Z jednej strony jest to bezpośrednia próba nawiązania rywalizacji z wyspecjalizowanymi portalami finansowymi, jak Yahoo Finance czy Seeking Alpha. Z drugiej, co równie istotne, jest to próba zatrzymania użytkowników w ramach własnych usług. Udostępniając potężne narzędzia analityczne zasilane przez AI, Google ma nadzieję, że użytkownicy poszukujący odpowiedzi na złożone pytania finansowe nie będą musieli opuszczać serwisu i zwracać się do zewnętrznych chatbotów, takich jak ChatGPT.4
Nowa, oparta na AI wersja Google Finance będzie wdrażana w Stanach Zjednoczonych w ciągu najbliższych tygodni. Użytkownicy otrzymają możliwość przełączania się między nowym a starym wyglądem serwisu. Z czasem rozwiązanie to powinno trafić również do innych regionów. Google Finanse w swojej wcześniejszej odsłonie jest usługą dostępną w Polsce, zatem nie widzimy przeszkód w tym, by nowe funkcje trafiły za jakiś czas i do naszego kraju.

(Статья — результат совместной работы с Максимом Степановым ) В прошлой статье мы показали, как тесты помогают найти изъяны в архитектуре. Для этого мы попытались протестировать скрипт на Python, проверяющий погоду. Нам пришлось разбить его на несколько функций в зависимости от зон ответственности, и это позволило написать несколько тестов. Но у них были существенные недостатки: - Хрупкость - Зависимость от внешних систем - Невозможность протестировать пользовательский сценарий в отдельности - Избыточное покрытие. Чтобы написать более качественные тесты, нам придётся улушить архитектуру кода, а именно реализовать внедрение зависимостей и перейти на модульную архитектуру. Посмотрим, как именно тесты заставляют нас совершенствовать код.

Some months ago I discovered #uv as #python package manager an I totally love it. 🤩 Because it is so fast it really lowers the hurdle to setup a new virtual environment and thus lowers the hurdle to keep things clean.
Since now I have more venvs I recently created an alias to quickly investigate which interpreter and version I am using in the currently active venv:
