Here’s NBC, in a story about how Altman has apparently and rather suddenly (once again) changed his stance on AGI:
“I think it’s not a super useful term,” Altman told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” last week, when asked whether the company’s latest GPT-5 model moves the world any closer to achieving AGI.
Remember, just last February Altman published an essay on his personal blog that opened with the line “Our mission is to ensure that AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) benefits all of humanity.” Suddenly it’s not a super useful term? Another bad joke, surely. If anything, it’s clear that Altman knows just what a super useful term AGI is, at least when it comes to attracting investment capital. But Altman tends to announce AGI is near when OpenAI is pursuing funding, and shrink from the term when the company is at a point of vulnerability.'

Another update to this #YouTube thing: even though it's technically possible to get these archives back, I think practically it's impossible, even when you've the storage for it.
I pulled some of my old #NAS storage disks which were ~4TB each and just attached one as an external USB storage (powered) to my old laptop. I set up #SMB and went on ahead to download the files, batch by batch, to the disk.
But nah, the #Google servers are prolly shit cos the downloads would just randomly fail or get stuck, which constantly requires a redownload - then I learned that they only allow 5 downloads per archive, any more and you'd need to request for another takeout, which is.. fucking ridiculous. Some of the download links just straight up didn't work too (i.e. invalid links).
Also, doing these downloads are also fucking up my #Linux/#KDE PC and having #Dolphin (file manager) hang is all too common, and when that happens, shit wouldn't want to launch ever again until a complete restart. I love Dolphin, it's the absolute best file manager I've ever used across all OS-es, but reliable.. it is not - same applies to KDE Plasma too tbh, with things like extremely slow desktop loading times at boot sometimes for wtv reason (~10 mins more or less), the entire desktop collapsing/reloading when attaching a rather 'heavy' device via USB, and the like.
Ya all in all, I don't think this is possible. My next bet is maybe to do this on my MacBook, but #macOS is just as shit (more like worse) when it comes to USB and file transfers/downloads.
