A man seeking a healthier alternative to salt consulted #ChatGPT. The AI suggested sodium bromide, a substance suitable for cleaning jacuzzis, not seasoning food. The man had to be hospitalized.
People read this kind of news and blame #Ai as a whole when the issue is not so much Ai but using the wrong tool for the job. Like using a hammer to clean a glass window.
The right tool for this job when it comes to using Ai to help you out is #Perplexity since it does the searching for you and provides sources for everything.
You should still verify any claims but the advantage here is the fact that its much harder to be wrong when you base your answer on 10 or 20 different real world sources instead of model training data.

Es war schon etwas überraschend. Auf einmal nahm die Aktie mit Riesenschritten ihr bisheriges Allzeithoch aus dem November letzten Jahres wieder in Angriff. Innerhalb von nur drei Monaten legte sie dazu mehr als 50% im Aktienkurs zu. Und was passierte dann? Marginal toppte sie das frühere Hoch und stürzte dann 20% ab.
Was sich nach einem Zockerwert anhört, ist eigentlich einer der gediegeneren Techwerte. Bekannt für seine stetigen Dividendenerhöhungen und seine Aktienrückkäufe. Durchaus etwas zyklisch im Geschäft, aber der Aktienkurs kannte solche dramatischen Ausschläge bisher nicht.
Ich konnte ehrlicherweise weder mit dem rasanten Anstieg noch der folgenden Korrektur wirklich etwas anfangen. Sondern stehe unverändert mit meiner Depotposition dar und frage mich, ob solche Volatilitäten nun zur Normalität werden. Denn dann müsste ich mein Investment tatsächlich noch einmal überdenken. Schließlich suche ich für mein Dividendendepot eher ruhigere Titel, mit denen es sich gut schlafen lässt.
