I'm looking over the schedule released for #WCUS for #WordPress, which has been trending fairly low for ticket sales. The schedule seems to be overwhelmingly:
- Folks who work for Automattic
- Influencers who make a living making videos about WordPress (making it harder to publicly distance from it)
- Folks that I've straight up never heard of.
I'm not trying to act like I know everyone, but having been to so many of these events in the past, I usually recognize 90% of the names on the schedule.
It definitely feels like a different event, after Mullenweg shat the bed on the event last year.
