Bluesky is changing their ToS soon ... but you have to agree to their future ToS to use their website today. Which is kind of asinine (or sinister ... I don' t know yet). I put the old ToS into a differencing tool but it turns out that's borderline useless.
Because they have changed almost everything so significantly that a side-by-side comparison is useless. I can't find anything from DDG explaining what Bluesky is actually doing. If anyone has a summary somewhere, I'd appreciate it.

Bluesky seems to have really stalled in terms of user activity. By all accounts people are still joining but user activity is steadily falling.
It seems to be the opposite here in the #fediverse. I'm reading that the rate of joiners has slowed but those here are still pretty active.
It remains to be seen which of those is more important.

"The State Department released its annual reports on human rights around the world on Tuesday, and revealed an administration set on whitewashing the records of some of the world’s worst violators of human rights.
The hollowed-out reports on roughly 200 countries and territories omit references to LGBTQ+ discrimination and curtail information on government abuses, including gender-based violence and government corruption. They no longer include sections focused on systemic racial or ethnic discrimination and violence, child abuse, or child sexual exploitation.
The congressionally mandated human rights reports, which are used to guide U.S. decisions on diplomacy and aid, have been turned into wholly political documents that target countries with whom the Trump administration has clashed and soft-pedal abuses by the administration’s allies.
Israel, and countries like El Salvador, South Sudan, and Eswatini, which have agreed to accept and in some cases imprison U.S. deportees as part of Trump’s growing global gulag, got a soft touch. South Africa, which has led the war crimes case against Israel at The Hague, received a more pointed report."

Ich kann damit einfach nicht umgehen, wenn mir der Rechtsstaat auf die Füße tritt und Dinge verlangt - ich kann nicht auf einen Anwalt zurück greifen, der mir dann solche Anfragen etc. überprüft und dann mit den Behörden kommuniziert.
Danke übrigens an dieser Stelle an die Person, die sich bemüssigt gefühlt hat, gegen User*innen meiner Instanz, die ich privat betreibe und in die ich viel Herzblut gesteckt habe, vorzugehen.
