Wenn ich auf #Youtube angemeldet zugreife und dann mit einer #VideoDownloader App ausm #Ubuntu Anwendungszentrum ( z.B. VideoDownloader) Videos runterlade, kann #Google dann erkennen, dass von meiner IP aus so eine App genutzt wird, oder sehen die nur, dass das Video abgerufen wird von meiner IP aus?

(Warum kann ich auf Bluesky immer noch keinen Hashtags folgen?) Bluesky wird von seinen Investor:innen finanziert – das Fediverse von seiner Community. Bluesky will sein eigenes AT-Protokoll etablieren. Mastodon und das Fediverse tragen den ActivityPub-Standard weiter.
Wichtig ist aber: Auch wenn Bluesky noch besser werden könnte, was Dezentralität und Investor:innen-Unabhängigkeit angeht: Auch Bluesky setzt eher auf Offenheit. Die Gemeinsamkeiten zwischen Bluesky und Mastodon sind deutlich – und die Unterschiede zu den bekannten Social-Media-Konzernen groß. 5/x

Natürlich ist das meine subjektive Wahrnehmung, aber: #Bluesky und das #Fediverse sprechen vermutlich unterschiedliche Zielgruppen an. Gerade in der deutschsprachigen Blase finden sich auf Bluesky vor allem Medienmenschen und Stimmen aus der Politik. Andererseits habe ich das Gefühl, dass die Blasen zu Themen wie Datenschutz, Digitalpolitik oder Open-Source im Fediverse viel größer sind.
Wirklich verwunderlich ist das nicht: Mastodon ist selbst quelloffen und föderiert – damit dürfte der Dienst auch Menschen ansprechen, die auch in ihrem sonstigen „digitalen Leben“ darauf setzen. #ChatGPT and #DeepSeek are so incredibly wrong when you ask it even basic questions about #typetheory. I asked for the top 10 simplest recursive types. Only 4 of them even were for DS and ChatGPT wasn't much better but a bunch of its formulations were even wrong. One of the things it gave wasn't even semantically let along syntactically valid. Also the ways they were wrong were braindead: the unit type and empty types aren't even close.

So allmählich ahne ich, worin der #Deal bestehen könnte: #Trump könnte der #Ukraine ein bilaterales Bündnis mit der #USA anbieten, das der Ukraine militärische Sicherheiten gibt, ohne dass diese der #NATO beitreten muss. Natürlich wäre so ein Bündnis auch wieder an Bedingungen geknüpft - es ist ja bekannt, dass Trump an #Bodenschätzen der #Ukraine interessiert ist. #Russland wiederum könnte wie viele Teile auch immer der besetzten Gebiete behalten (das genau auszuhandeln wäre dann der verbleibende Zankapfel) und müsste sich dann zu dauerhaftem Frieden gegenüber der Ukraine verpflichten. Kurzum - Trump beutet dann die Verbleib-Ukraine aus, und Putin kommt mit ein paar Landgewinnen aus der Sache wieder raus. Und die EU bekommt als Trost-Lolli für ihre sonst machtlose Rolle bei diesem Deal einen neuen Beitrittskandidaten.
