I think it was on @atpfm recently @marcoarment was saying Apple didn't care if old OS’s continued to work once they push out the latest update.
The past few days have really made this apparent. I've lost a lot of time trying to fix or work around things that used to work correctly on top adapting this ill advised UI update no one asked for.

The tips in quest are on toolbar buttons. Of course they work as expected for iOS26 but are broken on iOS18.

Ok so calling for the opinion of my fellow home server enthusiasts here, I want to:
At minimum host Miniflux, PiHole and Joplin Server in docker. That are the essentials.
If possible, I'm also interested in:
GitTea, Home Assistant and and a Media Server for my Audio books.
I did a lot of research today, and while a Raspberry Pi seems very suitable for most of that, especially when it comes to Home Assistant I feel like people tend to get a mini PC and co.
I've done further research and am going to try out Proxmox in order to see whether that's something I could imagine managing my stuff on a mini PC with, so I could have a VM running Home Assistant OS for example. A mini PC I would consider for example is the Beelink MINI-S12 Pro.
I'd greatly appreciate any opinions, about software to make managing easier, the hardware and so on.

Nachdem WhatsApp von Meta gekauft wurde, hat Meta die App immer weiter zerstört. Heute ist von den damaligen Grundwerten vor dem Kauf nicht mehr viel übrig. Meta hatte damals versprochen an den Grundwerten zu halten. WhatsApp sammelt deine Daten, um damit Geld zu machen, das sollte kein Geheimnis mehr sein. Threema: Threema ist ein Messenger aus der Schweiz. Dieser ist jedoch kostenpflichtig aber auch dieser Messenger legt einen sehr großen Wert auf Datenschutz. Für die Registrierung bei Threema brauchst du nicht mal zwingend eine Telefonnummer. Der Messenger ist außerdem Open-Source.
Und was ist mit Telegram? Telegram ist keine gute Alternative, da die Nachrichten auf den Servern von Telegram gespeichert werden und das ohne eine Ende-zu-Ende-Verschlüsselung.

It employs a highly flexible architecture with multiple linked list structures for payload management, execution, and networking. The malware communicates with its command and control server via a dedicated networking module and can dynamically load and execute various payload modules. PipeMagic's design allows for stealthy operation and granular control over compromised hosts, making detection and analysis challenging. The threat actor has targeted multiple sectors across different geographies, using PipeMagic in conjunction with a zero-day exploit to deploy ransomware.
