WordPress tech folks: I work on my website on a desktop computer using Firefox where things look the way they should. But on my phone and Safari on my laptop menu items show that haven't been added to the WP menu.
For instance: Home, Exhibits, and Posts are the only top menu items I want to appear while working on Galleries. "Galleries" hasn't been added to the WP menu. "Galleries" doesn't appear on Safari but two sub-menus do.
Does anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to prevent Safari from picking up menus/pages? Should I be doing something differently in Firefox?
Not an urgent problem but annoying.

I built a CLI tool that does something I thought was impossible:
Pause a running server, FREE its TCP port, then resume later — same PID, same memory.
It's called park. It uses ptrace (Linux) and Mach thread injection (macOS) to inject close(fd) into the target process. That's what actually frees the port. SIGSTOP alone doesn't do this.

Un’esibizione live che in molti hanno definito “pigra”. Quel che è certo è che la performance di Justin Bieber al Coachella è stata spiazzante, almeno secondo i siti di mezzo mondo. Stando a quanto ricostruisce Page Six, il cantante si è presentato sul palco in versione estremamente informale, con felpa, shorts e occhiali da sole, e ha scelto una formula lontana dai classici headliner del festival. Seduto su uno sgabello, ha alternato alcuni brani recenti a una sequenza di vecchi successi riprodotti anche tramite il laptop, in una sorta di medley di una dozzina di canzoni.

Una scelta che ha generato reazioni immediate online. Tra i commenti più diffusi, quella di avere “messo canzoni da YouTube, non ha fatto uno show” e paragoni impietosi con altri artisti presenti al festival, in particolare con set più strutturati e d’impatto. Non sono mancate, però, letture opposte: c’è chi ha interpretato l’uso dei video e delle clip, comprese immagini virali e momenti del passato dell’artista, come una scelta volutamente ironica o auto-riflessiva, in linea con il suo percorso.
Durante l’esibizione, Bieber ha anche coinvolto il pubblico chiedendo suggerimenti in tempo reale sui brani da eseguire, rafforzando l’impostazione improvvisata del set. Secondo le stesse ricostruzioni di Page Six, il cachet per la partecipazione al festival sarebbe stato intorno ai 10 milioni di dollari, cifra che ha contribuito ad alimentare le critiche sulla resa finale dello show: “10 milioni per questa specie di show?”. "En 2022, à l’approche des élections législatives, Meta lance sur Facebook la fonctionnalité EDI (Election Day Information) et sur Instagram des stickers colorés à thème. L’initiative se présente comme un service civique pratique destiné à rediriger les électeurs vers le site du ministère de l’Intérieur, qui en avait été informé. L’enquête de Report révèle cependant que, derrière cette apparence informative, se met en place un traitement plus large : âge, sexe, position géographique, appareil utilisé et interactions sont collectés, conservés et agrégés. Meta elle-même admet la possibilité de partager des données agrégées avec des tiers, y compris des « partenaires gouvernementaux ou des comités électoraux ». Plus de 6,5 millions d’utilisateurs sont concernés. La participation au vote se transforme en une opinion politique monétisable, dans ce qu’une source évoque comme un second « cas Cambridge Analytica ».
Face à cette activité, le département technique du Garant, dirigé par Riccardo Acciai, demande un blocage urgent. C’est ici qu’éclate un affrontement au sommet, documenté par les procès-verbaux officiels : les membres du collège Guido Scorza et Agostino Ghiglia freinent, demandant d’attendre les autorités européennes. Tous deux font par ailleurs l’objet d’une enquête pour corruption, notamment dans l’affaire des lunettes Meta Smart Glasses.

À la mi-2023, le problème se représente avec les élections régionales et les techniciens parviennent à faire adopter une mesure d’urgence qui empêche Meta de partager les données avec des tiers. Ils proposent également une amende de 75 millions. L’anomalie la plus flagrante se produit ici. D’après les documents recueillis par Report, Agostino Ghiglia manifeste son irritation et, le 29 février 2024, qualifie la sanction de « ridicule », en ajoutant qu’il fallait la « démonter ». Finalement, l’amende est drastiquement abaissée à 25 millions, soit à peine 0,02 % du chiffre d’affaires annuel mondial de l’entreprise.
