@sesom42@layer8.space wenn es nur um das Zeichenlimit geht, gibt es ja auch Mastodon-Instanzen, die das hochgesetzt haben.
Mir persönlich war es aber auch zu unübersichtlich mit Mastodon und zu wenige Optionen, v.a. um Inhalte zu strukturieren und zu viel Häppchen ohne Kontext. Hier mit #Sharkey geht das sehr gut mit Antennas (themenspezifische Timelines nach eigenen Suchbegriffen), noch besser als auf #Friendica mit den Kanälen.
Friendica hat aber noch einige weitere schöne Funktionen wie Terminkalender, Fotogalerie, richtige Formatierung der Texte und Einbindung von Bildern, Gruppen und Foren und für meinen Geschmack die beste Threadansicht. Wenn Du die alle nicht nutzt, wäre es aber vielleicht überdimensioniert.

Now that i'm not likely to go back to #Bluesky due to its centralized issue, i'm wondering about #Cara instead. Unlike Bluesky, who is managed by Jack Dorsey, Cara is managed by a smaller company than Dorsey's but is not decentralized either.
My grown impatience with centralized platforms taking over people's lives has me concerned deeply about their future.

Algorithmen sind nicht 100% evil.
Gut eingesetzt sind sie ein Mehrwert.
Erfrischend ist nicht das Fehlen von Algorithmen, sondern von Hass-Push-Algos (+ Ads).
Nur darauf zu hoffen, dass würdige Inhalte geboostet werden, klappt nicht.
Führt dazu, dass andere Feeds als hier in Mastodon oft interessanter sind. Schade.
Da bleibt "man" weg.
In Mastodon bringt (fast) nur der Boost-Button einem Beitrag Sichtbarkeit. Den verwenden die meisten verständlicherweise wenig.

Работает просто — пользователь получает код, продиктованный роботом во время голосового вызова. Этот альтернативный SMS и push-уведомлениям способ доставки кода, при этом относительно простой в реализации, дешевле SMS и работает без интернета. Я покажу, как это работает, на конкретном кейсе.

at work we are using 2 projects which have "recently" (over the last two years) implemented their own allocators. Both projects had used platform independent alignment. So their software might work or just crash with a "bus error" on another architectur.
