Podczas gdy w Polsce powstają pierwsze ośrodki pomagające w walce z cyfrowymi nałogami, w Stanach Zjednoczonych problem ten trafił już na sale sądowe, przynosząc wielomilionowe wyroki.
Meta zablokowała właśnie na swoich platformach reklamy kancelarii prawnych szukających kolejnych poszkodowanych. Zdaniem krytyków to wyraźna próba kontroli narracji wokół rosnącej liczby pozwów.
Zjawisko nadużywania smartfonów przez najmłodszych przestało być wyłącznie problemem wychowawczym, a stało się twardym argumentem w sprawach o potężne odszkodowania. Właściciel Facebooka i Instagrama ma za sobą niezwykle trudne miesiące w amerykańskich sądach. Jak informuje brytyjskie BBC, seria niedawnych wyroków sprawiła, że korporacja Marka Zuckerberga znalazła się pod ogromną, finansową i wizerunkową presją.
Miliony za zniszczone dzieciństwo
Tylko w ostatnich tygodniach amerykański wymiar sprawiedliwości wydał dwa wyroki, które mogą stać się precedensem dla całego świata:
- Sprawa z Nowego Meksyku: w marcu sąd nakazał Mecie zapłatę 375 milionów dolarów za wprowadzanie użytkowników w błąd w kwestii bezpieczeństwa dzieci. Ława przysięgłych uznała, że architektura platformy realnie zagrażała najmłodszym, narażając ich na kontakt z nieodpowiednimi treściami.
- Przełom w Kalifornii: młoda kobieta wywalczyła 6 milionów dolarów odszkodowania za zniszczenie psychiki na skutek dziecięcego uzależnienia od mediów społecznościowych (70% tej kwoty ma zapłacić Meta, a 30% Google).
W obliczu tych porażek amerykańskie kancelarie prawne zwietrzyły szansę na lawinę podobnych pozwów. Firmy takie jak Morgan & Morgan czy Sokolove Law zaczęły masowo wykupywać reklamy na Facebooku i Instagramie, oferując pomoc prawną kolejnym poszkodowanym. Reakcja giganta była natychmiastowa i zdecydowana.
Blokada w imię regulaminu
Meta masowo usunęła wspomniane kampanie (nawet te wyświetlane w zewnętrznych aplikacjach za pośrednictwem sieci Audience Network). Oficjalne stanowisko firmy tłumaczy ten ruch następująco: „Nie pozwolimy prawnikom zarabiać na naszych platformach, podczas gdy jednocześnie twierdzą oni, że są one szkodliwe”. Korporacja powołuje się na wewnętrzny regulamin, który pozwala jej usuwać treści wpływające negatywnie na relacje z użytkownikami lub sprzeczne z interesami firmy.
Na ripostę nie trzeba było długo czekać. Emily Jeffcott, prawniczka z kancelarii Morgan & Morgan, podsumowała ten ruch w kilku ostrych słowach. – To kolejny przykład na to, jak Meta próbuje kontrolować narrację i unikać odpowiedzialności – zaznaczyła Jeffcott w wypowiedzi dla mediów. – Zasoby, które firma poświęca na blokowanie tych reklam, byłyby lepiej wydane na poprawę bezpieczeństwa, tworzenie funkcjonalnych narzędzi ograniczających problematyczne użycie oraz usuwanie użytkowników poniżej 13. roku życia. Blokowanie reklam nie sprawi, że szkody znikną. Utrudnia to jedynie życie ofiarom.
Globalny problem, lokalne konsekwencje
Działania Mety to doskonały dowód na to, dlaczego inicjatywy takie jak nowo otwarty warszawski ośrodek Fundacji Sensus Vitae są dziś absolutnie niezbędne. Nie możemy liczyć na to, że korporacje technologiczne same z siebie wezmą odpowiedzialność za higienę cyfrową najmłodszych. Konieczne są instytucje wspierające działania edukacyjne, profilaktykę a także reagujące interwencyjnie w określonych przypadkach.
Krytycy zarzucają firmie, że zamiast rozwiązywać problem u jego źródła, skupia się ona na kontroli przekazu. W starciu z tak konsekwentnie chronionym modelem biznesowym, edukacja i uświadamianie rodziców pozostają na ten moment naszą najskuteczniejszą linią obrony.

Der bayrische Verwaltungsgerichtshof (VGH) erklärte am 09. April 2026 Grenzkontrollen im Winter 2021/22 und Winter 2022/23 für rechtswidrig.
Die von der damaligen Bundesinnenministerin Faeser angeordneten Grenzkontrollen konnten nicht "mit der Belastung von Unterbringungskapazitäten als Folge einer schon jahrelang andauernden
Sekundärmigration begründet werden", so der VGH.
Erst am 15. März 2026 tönte Bundesinnenminister Dobrindt: "Die Grenzkontrollen sind ein Element unserer Neuordnung der Migrationspolitik in Deutschland".
Interessant an dem Fall den der VGH entschieden hatte, das Verwaltungsgericht München, hatte die Klägerin noch abgewiesen, ihre Klage sei "unzulässig". Erst der VGH korrigierte dies. Es kann davon ausgegangen werden, dass Dobrindt das Urteil ebensowenig anerkennen wird, wie die EU-Regeln zu Grenzkontrollen und das Urteil des VGH vor dem Bundesverwaltungsgericht anfechten wird.
