Привет, Хабр! Сегодня разберём фичу из PySpark — UDTF . Если раньше мы писали UDF и UDAF, то UDTF — это про функцию, которая запускается в секции FROM запроса и возвращает как бы несколько стро» для каждой входной записи Звучит круто. UDTFs пригодятся, когда на один входной объект нужно получить множество выходных строк. Простой пример: у нас есть строка текста и мы хотим разделить её на слова так, чтобы каждое слово вышло отдельной строкой. Со стандартным UDF такое не сделать (он возвращает одно значение, например конкатенацию или длину). Но UDTF может делать цикл yield внутри и выдавать сколько угодно строк. Итак, приступим к делу.

So, I watched #Python: The Documentary.
It's a good one. You should watch it.
But here is a question that I have for fellow Pythonistas. #OpenStack was, for a while, one of the largest Python projects around, and one of the largest collaborative FOSS projects in any language. And yet, today it seems like the community has completely forgotten about those things. It is not mentioned in this documentary at all.

I'm working with a small team on an app that aims to improve integration between computers and mobile devices 📱💻, with a strong focus on privacy, control, and transparency 
We've been using the working name Pablo Connect. It's based on my pseudonym, and to me it makes sense. It's personal and honest 
But the team doesn't really like it 
They feel it's too casual or just not fitting for a wider audience. Maybe they're right.
So I'm asking here. We're looking for a name that's simple, original, and strong enough to carry the project forward 
Something that reflects the idea of connecting devices and people without creating dependency 🌐 A name that doesn't sound like a corporate product, but also doesn't fade from memory after three seconds.

Das Problem dabei ist aber: Das Fediverse ist nicht nur nicht Twitter ohne Musk und mit 500 Zeichen, sondern das war es nie, und deshalb wird es das auch nie sein. Egal, wie hart man dafür kämpft.
Den selbsterklärten Twitter-Klon Mastodon gibt es seit Januar 2016.
Friendica, das volles Rohr überhaupt nicht wie Twitter und Mastodon ist, gibt es schon locker fünfeinhalb Jahre länger. Und als Mastodon an den Start ging, hat es sich sofort mit Friendica verbunden (und auch mit Hubzilla, einem Fork eines Forks von Friendica, der noch weniger wie Twitter und Mastodon ist).
Und das scheinen die meisten auf Mastodon nicht zu wissen. Und vom Rest wollen es viele nicht wahrhaben. Schon gar nicht, daß das völlig normal ist, daß das schon immer Teil der Idee hinterm Fediverse war.
Die glauben eher, Eugen Rochko hat 2016 das Fediverse erfunden, und alles andere ist entweder nachträglich als Extra an Mastodon drangeklebt worden (PeerTube, Pixelfed etc.) oder ein böser Eindringling im Mastodon-Fediverse (Friendica, Hubzilla etc.).
Genau deswegen ist das Fediverse für diejenigen wie ich, die nicht auf Mastodon sind, ein Minenfeld.

Out of the blue, I can no longer pull from or push to (via #ssh) any of my private #gitlab #git repositories on either my laptop or desktop, both of which run #arch #linux. 🙃
After like 3 minutes of nothing, I get:

```
I updated and replaced my public key on GitLab – but no dice.
It seems like all GitLab services are up. I haven't looked into it further yet, but ... 🤔

It's crazy how YouTube is using AI to (IMO heavily) modify the videos that people upload.
What's next, changing people's skin tones? Editing their face to make them "more beautiful"?
All this AI "upscaling" does is make things look more generic. I'm not even worried about the "fake", they'll solve that. But by the nature of the beast, it will always move towards generic, boring imagery.

People complain that #Mastodon doesn’t integrate with non-Mastodon services. But that’s true of Twitter too—no one ever expected Instagram or Reddit inside Twitter.
The difference is Mastodon can do what Twitter never could. It talks to Instagram-like services such as #Pixelfed. It talks to Reddit-like services such as #Piefed. And Mastodon itself isn’t even Instagram-like or Reddit-like.
If that sounds confusing, that’s fair. It just means shifting your mental model of how the social web actually works.
