Do we have #k8s networking experts in the Fediverse? I have a networking questions that's a bit too low level for me.
I have a Deployment that runs a few pods of an http service. In front of it I have a Service object through which clients access the pods.
Now assume a single #Python client that uses an #aiohttp session object to execute concurrent requests. Are all requests from this single client routed to the same backend pod? Or are they distributed over all of them?

They moved the text to match the height of the nickname so the line that marks the thread makes more sense. but then there's some oddity like the blank space at the end fo the thread. Maybe that one toot should be at the same column as the one above (Simon's)

"Most controversially, the 38-page plan suggests what it calls “temporary relocation of all of Gaza’s more than 2 million population” – a proposal that would amount to ethnic cleansing, potentially a genocidal act.
Palestinians would be encouraged into “voluntary” departure to another country or into restricted, secure zones during reconstruction. Those who own land would be offered “a digital token” by the trust in exchange for rights to redevelop their property, to be used to finance a new life elsewhere.
Those who stay would be housed in properties with a tiny footprint of 323 sq ft – minuscule even by the standards of many non-refugee camp homes in Gaza.
It was not clear if the plan reflects US policy, and neither the White House nor the State Department responded to the Washington Post’s request for comment. But the prospectus seem to reflect Donald Trump’s previously stated ambition to “clean out” Gaza and redevelop it.
Among critics of the leaked prospectus was Philip Grant, the executive director of Trial International, a human rights group based in Switzerland, who called the plan “a blueprint for mass deportation, marketed as development”."

A senior U.S. defense official offered a more coherent statement, confirming to The Intercept that “the U.S. military conducted a precision strike against a drug vessel operated by a designated narco-terrorist organization.”
The Tuesday attack is the first acknowledged attack in Trump’s recent ramp-up of U.S. military force in Central and South America. The belligerent foreign relations harken back to early 20th-century military interventions, when the “big stick” approach to the Monroe Doctrine led the U.S. to invade or militarily support favored regimes in the majority of nations in the Western Hemisphere. This gunboat diplomacy risks embroiling the U.S. in additional foreign wars and undermining Trump’s anti-immigration efforts.
The White House and State Department did not reply to request for additional information on the attack.
Last week, the United States dispatched three Aegis guided-missile destroyers to the waters off Venezuela as part of Trump’s supposed war on Latin American drug cartels."

Today in weirdly specific questions: what happens in #python when using functools.cache to cache a method which returns a mutable object?
Do we save the returned value of the object (so that if we call the method again, we get the same value whatever happened to the object after), do we get an error (like if we try to pass a mutable argument to a cached method), or de we save a reference to the object (so that if we call the method again, we will get the same object, possibly in a new state)?
I was relatively sure it wouldn't be the first one, but wasn't certain between the latter two. It turned out to be option number three. More here:

This is why it's a bad idea to just use the default instance in any decentralized network. It leads to centralization and any issue will impact disproportionally more people, not just the local users but also anyone they want/need to communicate with on other instances. Nakonec se nám povedlo najít nějaké zapadlé nastavení, a díky němu získat alespoň 'abo-standart' formát výpisu ale ostatní avizované formáty vrací stále zarputile 404. No to se holt asi nedá nic dělat. Přijde mi že popasovat se s ABO mi dá méně práce než se handrkovat s Rebekou, která chudinka vypadá že má taky daleko ke zdroji.
