No siempre tenemos que expresar nuestra #opinión, por legítima que sea. También podemos seguir en #silencio, repensando la nuestra o la del resto. Asentir a veces es suficiente aunque tengas un dato que añadir, o una visión un poco distinta. No digo los puntillitos o las réplicas —mordaces o no— o los “yo quiero hacer más bien una #reflexión”, sino algo más general. Tampoco es sobre tener la última palabra, es algo menos cortante. Es un grado en la #interacción, y no una ley.
A veces ese tiempo extra nos hace mejores. O no nos hace peores. Quizá eso sea suficiente.
Las #injusticias son de otra manera? Los golpes de la vida? Los libros? Las anécdotas?
Hay un espacio para la nuestra y para la otra parte, y es también un tiempo.
Es derivar esa amistad, ese aprecio que sientes por la amiga que se explica y solo necesita eso, exponerse. Es una irrelevancia consciente, inversa a la exposición y premura de las #redessociales .te leo, te oigo; no necesitas mi respuesta, sino mi presencia ausente.
Es usar mal las redes sociales, porque así no están sirviendo ni como red, ni como social. Usarlas mal desde el punto de vista de sus propietarios, claro.
Y ahí entra #mastodon.

The Unity AI Assistant is by far the worst "AI" I've used for programming so far. I couldn't get it to do anything with my project or its assets.
I tried renaming files. I tried requesting documentation. I tried debugging an event problem.
It has zero ability to look at the current project it seems. Any name I reference it says it can't find, both game objects and files.
And now I can't even figure out how to uninstall it. The final packages have their remove grayed out in the package manager.

Right now I’m working on a #Python project that reads a lot of data from #YAML files. The data is validated later in the process when additional information from other sources is available.
Yet there seems to be no easy way to annotate the YAML data with information from which source file/position it was read. The YAML loader has the information internally (in the YAML Node) but there seems to be no easy way to preserve this information. (1/2)

Actually, a newcomer (like me, for example) can easily write 10x slower program in #C than in python, they all are seeded a thought that compiled languages produce faster programs.

But after World War II, sweeping reforms in defense and foreign policy led to its replacement by a new structure. Here’s the story of the last day the United States officially had a Department of War — and how it became today’s Department of Defense.
The Final Day: September 17, 1947
The turning point came with the National Security Act of 1947. This landmark legislation reorganized the armed forces, intelligence, and defense establishment to meet Cold War realities. It did three major things:
- Retitled the Department of War as the Department of the Army.
- Created a separate Department of the Air Force.
