I use #friendica only with the webapp and since a few days with the custom-theme #bookface which looks really modern and has a very good interface also for smartphone-size.
I use it for interacting with people. Mostly on fediverse.
And i've subscribed some rss-feeds. Which works quite good.
Since a few days peertube-videos also work very good on friendica (on rc-branch, for devs).
What i like on friendica is the possibility to join a user or on peertube also a channel and set "share native". So my account shares every posting from the other account when it arrives on my server.
I use this for some of my peertube-channels and my pixelfed-account.
So i post a video or images there, and my friendica-followers (which is my main interacting service in fediverse) get my videos and images from the other accounts instantly, when i pist them there.
This workflow i also use to bring some rss-feeds into fediverse.
Therefore i created another "identity" in friendica. For example @sternengeschichten and configured it as newspage.
Then i joined with this identity the rss-feed and configured it as "share native".
Now every fediverse-user can join my friendica-account @sternengeschichten and receives each new posting on this rss-feed as native fediverse-posting.
I love those great workfliws, friendica delivers.

‚Im Prozess gegen Hanna S. vor dem Oberlandesgericht (OLG) München hat die Bundesanwaltschaft am Montag eine Freiheitsstrafe von neun Jahren gefordert. Sie soll wegen versuchten Mordes und gefährlicher Körperverletzung und Mitgliedschaft in einer kriminellen Vereinigung verurteilt werden, so das Plädoyer. Ursprünglich verortete die Anklage die besagte Gruppe von bis zu 20 Personen im Umfeld des sogenannten Antifa-Ost-Komplexes in Deutschland. Inzwischen heißt es, diese sei für Taten in Budapest gegründet worden – die Bundesanwaltschaft sprach dazu von »Gewalttourismus«.
Hanna S. wurde im Mai 2024 in Nürnberg festgenommen, ihr Prozess begann im Februar mit fünf Richter*innen. Zwei der in Budapest Angegriffenen wurden gegen S. als Nebenkläger*innen zugelassen – sie werden unter anderem von einer Anwältin des NSU-Terroristen Ralf Wohlleben vertreten und plädierten ebenfalls am Montag. Im Prozess ging es um die Schwere der ihnen mit einem Teleskopschlagstock zugefügten Verletzungen…..‘

Filters are a wonderfull thing on mastodon.
I would've left the fediverse if it wouldn't have them, because without them the main timeline (explore-tab) looks like just another US corporate platform ranting about 'america this!!' and 'US corporate that!!' and no european things to find.
But with filters it looks so lovely, so smoooooth, like real 'social' media should be.

Godot-looking game from Itch shipped with only a Windows version (I figured it was godot since it had a .pck file alongside the .exe)
I tried running it in wine with --version and it spit out "4.2.2.stable.official.15073afe3"
hmm... don't we have Godot 4.2.2 already installed? ... yes we do!
so I copied it to the game folder, renamed it to match the .exe/.pck, and guess what, IT WORKED
