Attention anybody who has downloaded the Critter Drifters demo (or wants to), I recently updated #godot to 4.5 which apparently fixes some controller input mapping stuff some folks were experiencing.
Note that if you've already downloaded the demo, you should reset your progress to ensure the mappings get reset to default.
A bit worried something else will break from me exporting from the latest version of the game engine, but I was on 4.4 so probably not. Either way, makes sense to push out an update to the demo now to see if it does break so I can fix it before launch (and Steam Next Fest which is coming up).

Peertube! Just starting to explore it.
Peertubes structure is...new to me. But then again maybe not so much? Back before youtube interesting stuff was all over the net, not on just one site. You would go watch videos on creators own websites and then stuff on newgrounds. So idea of decentralized video platform should not feel that different. It actually feels fresh! I can find smaller creators that are jsut starting.
Your thoughts about it? Will peertube grow?

When I write tests for code, I often include references to TV or books or other such things.
If I need a text string, I rarely do "Hello World". I used to do "Hello Kitty" but these days I usually use "Hi Bob" (from For All Mankind). I even added a test API header "X-Hi: Bob" the other day. 😁
For errors I often go with "Out of cheese error" or "Divide by cucumber error" from Discworld.
