Ngl, when I first got here I really wanted quote posts. Now that they're rolling out a couple years later, my opinion is the exact opposite.
It's nothing to do with the implementation thereof, which seems to have been done very thoughtfully. Doesn't look like it was the easiest task technically, either. So no shade on those who have put so much work in on the feature.
No, I just came to appreciate the absence of quote posts over time. Weird.
