DeepSeek is hopelessly overthinking things. It's amusing reading through its DeepThink process, but boy is it stubborn and quite frankly just lost inside itself. It's still amazing though, it's been 5 minutes and it still produces "thoughts". I'm honestly amused at this point.

Just noticed something interesting about Facebook's algorithm setup. If you remove most of the personal information from your account, books you like, films you like etc.etc. you lose 'Visibility Points' (Shadow Banned) and your public posts from that point on are then shown to fewer or no others, even if those others follow you.
Another reason I much prefer Mastodon 👍

I consider facebook, Instagram, youtube, reddit, x-shitter, #mastodon as "social media" because they all include to varying degrees features designed to show you posts from sources you never sought out to see (not so much in mastodon, but I can "follow" a hashtag which amounts to the same thing as unknown others can fill this feed)
I dont think of systems like discord and whatsapp as social media because of this. thoughts?

Hola, défi
Estoy desesperado con este problema técnico con WhatsApp. Os pongo en antecedentes:
A mí mujer se le cayó el teléfono y la pantalla quedó en negro y el teléfono encendido. Vibraba y recibía notificaciones en el reloj.
Le compré un teléfono nuevo, pero al meter los datos para restaurar el WhatsApp, nos dice que no hay copia en Google Drive. Después de muchas vueltas, decidimos seguir adelante sin copia, pero se queda todo el rato en la Info. De perfil con un mensaje que pone "Conectando...".
Qué cosas hemos hecho:
- Usar un cable usb-c a HDMI para conectarlo a la tele. Los Xiaomi no tienen salida de video.-Usar otro teléfono viejo. Mismo problema.-Reinstalar y reiniciar varias veces la app y el teléfono.-Bloqueado con control parental el acceso a internet del teléfono viejo.
- Añadir otra cuenta de Gmail al teléfono nuevo.
- Llorar y dar vueltas.
Si cambias la foto de perfil, la veo modificada en mi WhatsApp.
¿Qué puede estar fallando?
