我的 Mastodon 实例没有开 Elasticsearch 全文搜索，但偶尔又需要搜索一下历史嘟文，在 Vercel 部署了一个搜索。最开始用的是 Pagefind，后来把转嘟和回复都加进来了，Pagefind 构建就太慢了，有 7K 个页面，又改为 MiniSearch，现在又改为 FlexSearch 了。

Onsdag den 17. september 2025 afholdt Foreningen Digital Uafhængighed offentlig lancering af deres nye forening, der havde stiftende generalforsamling den 27. august 2025. Tobias Fonsmark fra Semaphor sidder i bestyrelsen og var en af dagens talere.
Digitaliseringsminister Caroline Stage Olsen indledte lanceringsarrangementet med en kort tale, hvor hun bød den nye forening velkommen og glædede sig over initiativet. Afslutningsvis bad ministeren foreningen om at holde hende til ilden omkring digital uafhængighed, hvis hun blev mentalt optaget andetsteds.
Næstforperson Camilla Gregersen holdt en blændende åbningstale, hvor baggrunden for Foreningen Digital Uafhængighed blev skitseret og målene for fremtidens arbejde defineret. Foreningen har indtil videre nedsat tre arbejdsgrupper: “Økonomi- og konkurrenceforhold”, “ Hardware- og softwareprodukter” og “Datasikkerhed” – og opfordrer alle interesserede til at melde sig.

Tobias Fonsmark fra Semaphor holdt indlæg om “Suverænitetsforbedringer via lovgivning”, hvor han gav bud på de første oplagte skridt mod digital uafhængighed. Første skridt er, at sikre brugen af åbne standarter som alternativ til dyre big tech løsninger – og i yderste instans sikre brug af open source. Næste skridt er etablering af egen hosting af kritisk data inden for Danmarks/Europas grænser. Tredje skridt er, at beskytte vores børn og unge mod afhængighed af big tech med uafhængige platforme til brug i uddannelsesinstitutionerne. Fjerde skridt er lovgivning omkring IT uddannelsesinstitutionerne, så de studerende bliver præsenteret for alternativer til big tech løsninger som fx open source.
Næste punkt på dagsordenen var Jarl Cordua og Jakob Seierø, der havde en humoristisk dialog omkring danskernes afhængighed af big tech. Efterfølgende kom Pernille Tranberg på banen og præsenterede en række europæiske platforme f.eks. brave.com, openstreetmap.org, deepl.com, signal app, nextcloud.com m.fl. som anbefalelsesværdige alternativer til big tech platforme. “Alternativerne findes derude, vær nysgerrig og kom i gang med at bruge dem”, lød det fra Pernille.
Sidste taler før den afsluttende paneldebat var Morten Kjærsgaard, der præsenterede samarbejdsmodeller mellem offentlige aktører og private leverandører.
Lanceringen bar præg af det store engagement hos foreningen, der arbejder for at skabe opmærksomhed omkring behovet for digital uafhængighed for blandt andet at fremme lovgivning og investeringer på området.

To me it would seem as if a fair amount of people are here, on the #Fediverse but I'm getting a feeling that quite a few (at least of the active ones) are from the United States. Now I'm wondering where (if at all) else people are congregating to catch-up with cybersecurity news, and the "pulse" of the industry?
