What if you could connect two nodes without a direct reference?
What if you could store signals in your resources folder?
What if you could respond to a signal right from the inspector?

I am currently working on a new #Godot asset that brings all of these features to the editor.

The goal is to implement a "Signal Bus" using Resources in a similar manner to how ScriptableObjects can be used as "Event Channels" in #Unity3D.

I can't wait to publish it.

This last year, I’ve gotten the sense of the daily #news in less than five minutes. But, it astounds me how long it takes the so-called average American to weigh through all the #MAGA bullshit, #SocialMedia, and performative news statements. I’m done with it… wasted time.

I suppose that a nicer way to say that America has its head up their ass is to describe them as being self-absorbed, oblivious, or in denial, using phrases like "They're very out of touch," "They're living in their own world," or "They're incredibly self-centered"….

More Polite & Less Rude Alternatives:
— Self-absorbed/Self-centered.
— Oblivious/Out of touch:
— In denial.
— Living in a bubble.
— Unrealistic.
— Being stubborn/inflexible.

Just saw that Linkedin is the latest to announce scraping user data to feed their large language model (aka 'AI').

So I'm feeling doubly happy that I ripped everything out of my profile this summer, bar my website and a single line in the profile that reads, “Scribbling stuff about signs and no longer active on Linkedin”.

if there are multiple reblog replies to a post, posted by the same user, consecutively, and in the same page of a feed, they get collapsed into one item. it goes where the latest one of them would. it doesn't hide anything, just removes the duplicates. so instead of #3 then #2 then #1, you just see #3.

I have a whole frozen chicken slightly on the larger side, I was going to roast all day today, but I have no idea if the giblets and neck are just tucked inside which would be fine as I cook them too, or if they had been bagged up, now I have to set it in the fridge to thaw out for the week and wait until next weekend to roast it, which presents another issue, it was going to be dinner tonight and until at least Wednesday, Now I do have one more pork shoulder roast frozen that I could roast but I am all out of apple sauce which I wont roast without it, been cooking them that way for years, I thought I had a jar left but sadly I don't so strike two for what to cook, looks like I am kind of stuck, I may just end up eating spam and eggs for a few days I have enough to get me to Tuesday on that, then I think I have just enough pancake mix to make pancakes Wednesday thru Friday, ugg poverty sucks, when you try to change and slightly improve your diet and end up still not having food to eat because you cant afford everything you need to cook;

Мы с коллегами находимся в процессе активной реинкарнации моей старой, аж из 2014 года веб студии mindgroup-web . На дизайн можете не смотреть. В то время мы были молодыми, начинающими разработчиками. Которые умели создавать сайты на Wordpress, писать простенькие скрипты на JS, и неплохо разбирались в тогдашнем SEO. PS. С дизайном у нас до сих пор тяжеловато, поэтому мы в поисках талантливого дизайнера, начинающего свой путь. Это было интересное время ссылочного и контентного продвижения. Мне удавалось писать довольно неплохие информационные и коммерческие тесты. Почему берусь это утверждать? Все проекты, которые мы брали в продвижение - по итогу приносили поисковый трафик. Мой рекорд - 15 000 дневных уникальных посетителей, на сайте информационной тематики. В то время, мы делили нишу контентных сайтов, с еще одним конкурентом. Сейчас при написании статьи попытался найти его в результатах поисках - увы, он как и мой проект, канул в лету. Спасибо, за интересное состязание. В общем и целом, в то время, нам не удалось раскрутить бизнес на широкую ногу. Доход был маленький. Продавать мы толком не умели, а разрабатывать сложные программные продукты не позволяло отсутствие скилла. Все разбежались, кто куда. Ваш покорный слуга ушел на завод в коммерческую разработку. Проще говоря - работать на дядю. Собственно, в данный момент я являюсь Senior Fullstack Developer. За плечами опыт работы в таких компаниях, как Яндекс, Лаборатория Касперского, Сбер. Основной стек - JS/React/NextJs/NodeJs/Express/NestJS. БД - Postgres. CI/CD - gitlab. Реже Python/C.
