OpenDesk für die Digitalen Arbeitsplätze für Lehrkräfte in BW
Ich finde das wieder eine gute Nachricht für mehr digitale Unabhängigkeit. Die Lehrkräfte haben nun für ihren Arbeitsplatz OpenDesk zur Verfügung und damit eine selbstbewusste Alternative zu Microsoft 365 auf ihren Rechnern.
Ich will das Paket hier nicht im Detail beschreiben. Dafür verweise ich die Leser:innen auf die Webseite von OpenDesk oder auch gerne auf den Abschnitt dazu im Wikipedia-Artikel über das ZenDiS.
Wie das jetzt in Baden-Württemberg abläuft oder abgelaufen ist, kann in der PM des Kultusministeriums nachgelesen werden.
Daraus möchte ich einen Absatz im Wortlaut zitieren:
Gemeinsam mit Dataport und govdigital sowie den beteiligten Firmen Univention, Openxchange, Nextcloud und Collabora hat das Kultusministerium seit 2024 den Digitalen Arbeitsplatz für Lehrkräfte auf Basis der digital souveränen Software dPhoenix an knapp 60.000 Lehrkräfte ausgerollt. Seit Sommer 2025 wird der DAP nun auf Basis der Software openDesk umgesetzt. OpenDesk nutzt dieselben Softwarekomponenten wie dPhoenix und setzt die Pionierarbeit von Dataport mit dPhoenix konsequent fort.
Mir fällt da auf, dass der eigentliche kommunale IT-Dienstleister im Ländle, die komm.one komplett fehlt. Tja, das muss doch schon ein bisschen peinlich sein, oder? Peinlich ja, verwunderlich eher nicht. Wenn man sich die Webseite der komm.one anschaut, dann findet man halt nur belanglosen PR-Sprech zu digitaler Souveränität und das Thema Open Source – und damit ein wichtiger Schlüssel zur Unabhängigkeit – kommt überhaupt nicht vor.
Ich finde das peinlich.

I can happily report that zuck has not sucked me into his algorithm! But that doesn't mean I haven’t noticed his algorithm at work.

holy ____ am I glad to be on Mastodon/Fediverse. And god we are so ____ as long as billions of people are exposed to that place.
And just to be clear... my only activity on there is through Marketplace. I don't have any friends, no groups, nothing else that I think would impact the algorithm. So as far as I know, I'm a virgin user to FB's algorithm. And that's what I got.
