I find it soooo interesting that Chinese social media is recommending me such interesting English books.
How much do you think folks in China know about life outside China, and the cultural, political events?
More than you think.
The reverse isn't as true. This is probably due to the huge language barrier. Chinese is not an easy language so I am grateful I know two Chinese languages, enabling me to access media that many won't understand.
That said, isn't the title a little confronting?
Yet I have to reflect on my upbringing which most Chinese people can relate too.
Coddling is just not a thing with most Chinese parents. 😅 I was always told from a young age that "life is hard. Deal with it."
Even when we lived in a haunted house, dad was like, "ghost doesn't do anything to you so why you care so much"

But I have grown grateful of this upbringing. I realise I am more resilient today as a result.

An alle die sich jetzt lustig machen über Trump, wonach es es doch garkeine Antifa-Organisation gebe: solche Bestrebungen gibt es auch in Deutschland.
Zudem ermöglichen solche Verlautbarungen, wie jene aus dem Weißen Haus, der Justiz noch härtere Verfolgung, noch mehr Bespitzelung, noch höhere Strafen.
Wer immer noch behauptet, Trump sei dumm, verharmlost einen Neofaschisten und verschließt die Augen vor der Wirklichkeit. Zudem ist es zu unterkomplex, sich auf Trump zu fixieren, denn er ist Teil tief reichender, politischer und ökonomischer Netzwerke.
Erst 2024 forderte Alice Weidel ein Antifa-Verbot und kündigte ein solches an, sobald man regiere.
Wie realistisch ist, das können alle selbst überlegen, aber ist es nicht längst überfällig, sich auf soetwas vorzubereiten??
Denn in weiten Teilen von CDU/CSU, vermutlich auch in Teilen der SPD und den Grünen, dürfte solch ein 'Verbot' auf Zustimmung stoßen.
