En el juego que estoy desarrollando (nombre en clave temporal: Navecitas) el jugador maneja una nave espacial que va consumiendo el combustible según lo rápido que vaya. Para probar esta funcionalidad he modificado el sistema para que se funda el combustible de forma instantánea.
Cuando la nave se queda sin combustible, un Camionero Espacial se acerca a la nave y ofrece al jugador rellenar el tanque a cambio de dinero.

BOJ (Baekjoon Online Judge), a big competitive programming site in Korea, says it's shutting down on April 28. It has been around since 2010 and, as far as I know, has mostly been one person's work the whole time. The notice doesn't say why. The rumor is that the server bills finally got too high.
What caught my eye is that some people in the Korean #fediverse, including @2chanhaeng, are already talking about whether a federated replacement could work, with #ActivityPub coordinating things and volunteer nodes doing the judging. I have no idea if that can really work, since timing differences between machines are a serious problem in competitive programming, and I'm not the right person to help with it. Still, I like that the first reaction was to try building something.

The defense that worked five years ago, blocking bad names at the registry, is the layer attackers now route around. Sonatype's Q1 2026 Malware Index counted 21,764 malicious packages in three months. One every six minutes. npm took 75 percent. Not typosquatting. Trust abuse: hijacked names, release paths, workflows. The layer that still works sits on the developer machine and the CI runner. That layer is what most budgets treat as someone else's problem.
