i had to adjust my area parts to work with this game's turn-based and tile-based gameplay (felt a bit lost on how to do that, and then i went and did it)
i've also shrunk the screen a bit to help make the level design feel less...wide (and to work with the way i make rooms)
somehow it turned out fine! i should add more enemies now, or maybe some items instead

Come sapete ho la mia istanza personale su #SNAC2, dove ogni tanto mi lascio andare a pipponi un po’ più tecnici e decisamente lunghi… 😄
E sia chiaro, SNAC2 va benissimo. È leggero, velocissimo, gira praticamente su un tostapane… però è talmente minimale che a un certo punto presenta il conto.
I miei post stanno aumentando, e con loro il rischio concreto che, pian piano, inizino a sparire. Non per cattiveria, ma perché lì sotto non c’è un vero database… è filosofia zen applicata al #Fediverso: “se non lo vedi più, forse non era importante” 😄
Il problema è che alcune cose importanti lo sono davvero, e non ho intenzione di lasciarle evaporare nel nulla cosmico.
Quindi, mio malgrado (ma neanche troppo), torno su #GoToSocial, che già conosco e che mi garantisce un minimo di memoria storica senza diventare un carro armato.
Questa volta però si fa come piace a me:
niente automatismi strani, niente #YunoHost… installazione pulita, controllata, un pezzo alla volta.
Datemi solo un po’ di tempo per fare le cose con calma, sistemare tutto come si deve e migrare quello che merita davvero.
Poi ci risentiamo da GTS 😉

US-Präsiden Trump hatte sie nach Amtsantritt 2025 begnadigt- aber damit gelten sie weiterhin als „verurteilt“. Nun fordert das Justizministerium in Berufungsanträgen die Aufhebung der Verurteilungen, das dies „in the interests of justice“, d.h. im Interesse der Gerechtigkeit, sei.
Während also alles was nach Antifaschismus, nach Links oder auch Queer aussieht verfolgt, verleumdet, beschimpft oder gar als Terrorismus verfolgt wird, werden Rechtsextreme von der US-Regierung erst begnadigt und dann hofiert.

As a chance for myself to find this again: when installing an #npm package from a git URL, the following happens **if the package.json has a "prepare"**.
- clone into some tmp repo, found it beyond ~/.npm
- install dev and prod dependencies into that repo
- run prepare script in that repo
- package in that repo (did not see postpack run)
- install the assumedly generated tgz

Lamberto Pignotti, tra i fondatori del Gruppo 70, e Hogre, street artist anonimo e tra i massimi esponenti internazionali del subvertising, saranno i protagonisti della mostra “IDENTIKIT”, che si terrà presso la galleria Bianco Contemporaneo, Roma. . L’idea della mostra nasce dal dialogo tra i due artisti sul concetto di identità. Se Hogre ha sempre operato nell’anonimato, Pignotti (oggi centenario) ha risposto mostrandogli un archivio conservato per oltre cinquant’anni che, al contrario, rivela le sue molteplici identità. Si tratta di un corpus di buste indirizzate a lui con titoli più disparati — architetto, artista, scrittore, poeta, professore, pittore — e altrettante lettere in cui il suo nome viene cambiato in Alberto, Lorenzo, nonché in Mario e Giuseppe. Da questo archivio, suddiviso meticolosamente per “errori” e “qualifiche”, emerge il punto di contatto tra i due: la frammentazione dell’identità di Pignotti si specchia nell’assenza di identità di Hogre. Hogre interviene nello spazio pubblico, spesso senza autorizzazione, sovvertendo cartelloni e loghi pubblicitari per trasformarli in messaggi satirici e provocatori contro il consumismo. Questa pratica di subvertising è strettamente affine a quella del Gruppo 70, che già decenni fa utilizzava ritagli di giornale, rotocalchi e locandine per decostruire la comunicazione di massa. Entrambi gli artisti utilizzano gli strumenti del potere per svelarne i meccanismi, attraverso atti sovversivi e analisi spregiudicate che mirano a smascherare gli stereotipi diffusi dai media. Nonostante la distanza anagrafica, le due generazioni si ritrovano unite in una visione dell’arte intesa come strumento critico capace di svelare la vera natura della realtà e del potere.
La mostra sarà corredata da un cofanetto/cartella d’artista in edizione limitata di 50 copie con tutte le foto delle opere in mostra, il testo critico e le biografie degli artisti.

Has anybody invented a #git friendly, user friendly #database yet? Something that runs locally, no client-server architecture.
I'm thinking of a folder full of CSV files where each represents a table, so all the raw data is in plaintext, it can be edited with LibreOffice Calc, but at some point it can all be imported into a SQLite database for consistency checks and cross references, maybe in a git precommit hook.
I could stitch this together myself but I'm hoping someone else has saved me the effort!

Oh My Git! visualizes the internal structures of Git repositories in realtime. The player can immediately see the results of their actions.
To accommodate people who are new to Git, the game features a custom-designed playing card interface! The cards help remember newly introduced Git commands, but also contain a short description and an icon. Therefore, they combine both action as well as documentation.
For more advanced or curious players, the game offers a integrated terminal, where they can execute arbitrary Git commands. There's a "real" Git integrated into the game, which allows players to try and learn all of Git's features.
To teach players how to use Git for collaboration in teams, Oh My Git! puts a focus on how to interact with remotes, and which workflows exist when dealing with multiple repositories.
