I managed to configure TensorFlow Lite directly in Termux. Now the phone is "seeing" and classifying objects with the MobileNet model.
How does it work?
Brain: TensorFlow loads the computer vision model.
Eyes: Python uses the Termux:API to access the camera.
Filter: The Pillow library prepares the image for AI.
Insight: The processor does the magic in 70ms!
All running offline and directly in the terminal.

Was mir am #Fediverse gefällt ist, dass kaum etwas oder jemand "Reichweite" entwickelt. Mir fällt dazu regelmäßig ein Begriff aus dem Brandschutz bzw. der Klassifikation von Baumaterial ein: Es ist selbstverlöschend. Es ist dadurch strukturell gefeit gegen das Bemühen, "Reichweite" willentlich zu erzeugen, aber zugleich spannend, Communities (Gemeinschaften) zu tragen bzw. für solche einer offenen Gesellschaft zu funktionieren.

I think somebody should take all the leaked and copyrighted code that exists out there for various LLM Coding Agents, and train a model with a special focus on reproducing that type of code. Then they ask the model to build them something like Claude Code but works with local models or whatever.
I want to watch Anthropic have to argue in a court of law that LLMs reproducing stolen code which they remembered in their weights is a copyright violation of the original authors of that stolen code. I want to see them have to argue that, or else have to admit that anyone is allowed to steal their code.
Hell, twist the knife in the wound by asking it to build a "clean-room re-write" of Claude Code.
I want to see this happen, despite the fact I probably would not even use this vibe coded software almost ever. I want to see Anthropic have to pivot to handle this.

Camera used: E-M1 Mark II paired with Tokina RMC 400mm F5.6 Manual Lens (Nikon F mount adapted to m43).
These photos were taken just off the side of the road next to a wetland in my neighborhood. Photos have been cropped in camera. ISO ranged from 2500 to 5000 and shutter speed for the barn swallow was at around 1/1600th - 1/1250th of a second. Aperture was f/8 - f/16.
All photos are straight out of camera. Not my best, but it was relaxing.

Today I learned that even though it's not populated by default, in Debian anyway, you can create a file at ~/.ssh/config and add case specific, non-system-wide custom directives to it. For me, this has allowed me to use a "ProxyJump" command to hop thru one #SSH server to connect to another one on a remote internal network without having to manually toggle on a VPN. Directives placed here also apply to sftp addresses you visit in the nautilus file browser.
