Um die Anzahl Likes und Shares (zwischen den Instanzen) besser abzugleichen, läuft via #ActivityPub gern eine Information über die aktuellen Zahlen, die ein Beitrag aktuell mit sich führt. (#Mastodon ab v4.3 - meine ich - führte z.B. [likes] und [shares]-Elemente ein).
Bei #Mammuthus habe ich das vor einiger Zeit auch implementiert bzw. eben auch die Aktualisierung von Zahlen von Beiträgen auf anderen Instanzen.
Und jetzt kommt der Haken der eingangs erwähnten trickreichen Föderation.
Mir fielen Unstimmigkeiten auf und bei Analyse stellte sich heraus, daß z.B. ein Announce eines Beitrags von einer dritten Instanz auf meiner Instanz einlief, bevor die Originalinstanz, dessen Beitrag geteilt wurde, davon Wind bekommen hatte. Vertraue ich in diesem Fall auf die Zahlen der Originalinstanz, liege ich leider falsch.
Also gleiche ich nun drei Zahlenwerte ab, sofern notwendig und passe die Anpassung passend an... 😉
Ich vergleiche die via #ActivityPub gelieferten Zahlen (bzw. die Zahlen aus einer #JSON-Anfrage an die Originalinstanz) mit den Zahlen, die als Cache-Wert direkt beim Beitrag gespeichert sind sowie einer wirklichen Durchzählung in der Datenbank.

Running 3 Pironman 5 setups, each with two NVME 1TB drives. Having lots of issues with the second drive on each device. Basically the OS sometimes sees the drive, but won't talk to it, sometimes it doesn't see the drives at all. The one that does work has many R/W errors. Anybody seen this before?

Не просто дашборд: как DORA-метрики помогли нам сократить инциденты на 80%
DORA-метрики легко обсуждать как что-то довольно очевидное: выбрал четыре показателя, подключил данные, построил графики — готово. На практике все интересное начинается в тот момент, когда пытаешься сделать это не в презентации, а в живой компании с сотнями сервисов, разными сценариями деплоя и командами, у каждой из которых свой способ довозить код до прода. В Островке из этой задачи в итоге вырос отдельный сервис: он собирает события о релизах, связывает их с изменениями в GitLab, сопоставляет с инцидентами и отдаёт данные в Grafana. На MVP мы покрыли 90% проектов, а после регулярного разбора метрик и автоматизации узких мест количество критичных сбоев по последним данным снизилось на 80% . Под катом — история о том, как мы к этому пришли: откуда брали данные для DORA-метрик, как считали их в условиях очень разных релизных процессов и почему самой сложной частью оказалось не нарисовать графики, а вообще договориться с реальностью.

Мессенджер #Telegram в ночь на 17 апреля вновь начал работать у части пользователей из России. Как выяснил «Код Дурова», это может быть никак не связано со снятием ограничений.
Сообщения о том, что сервис заработал «как раньше», поступают от пользователей Telegram на Android. Редакция убедилась: на последних версиях приложения, включая бета-сборки, с позднего вечера 16 апреля корректно работают все функции без прокси и VPN — отправка и получение сообщений, а также загрузка медиа.
Для настройки корректной работы в первый раз без использования указанных сервисов может потребоваться несколько перезапусков приложения. «Код Дурова» узнал, что Telegram в России на Android в соответствующем разделе настроек указывает на подключение аккаунта из другой страны — даже если пользователь не активировал свой прокси или VPN
При этом на момент публикации Telegram может оставаться недоступным в ряде случаев: если у пользователя нет активной подписки Telegram Premium, а также при входе с iPhone или ПК.
Даже в пределах одного города и при использовании одного оператора мессенджер без прокси и VPN работает только на Android и только у Premium-подписчиков.
Такие признаки — особенно доступ без прокси исключительно для пользователей с Premium — могут указывать на то, что происходящее не связано с действиями регуляторов или провайдеров.
Опрошенные эксперты сходятся во мнении, что совокупность факторов пока указывает на вероятные изменения в самом приложении Telegram, благодаря которым он вновь начал работать в России. Они объясняют это «странностью: у одного и того же оператора на iPhone ничего не работает, а на Android всё заработало»:
«Как мы видим, в разделе "Устройства" геопозиция активной сессии внезапно меняется на США — одинаковая локация отображается у многих пользователей. При этом некоторые из них отмечают, что никогда не пользовались сервисами, которые могли бы давать такой „дальний“ зарубежный IP.
По анализу трафика прослеживаются нетипичные замаскированные подключения. Как всё это будет работать дальше — пока неизвестно. В некоторых случаях даже у пользователей, у которых мессенджер заработал, наблюдаются проблемы: падает скорость, не загружаются медиа, но спустя время всё снова приходит в норму».
