Cal.com closed its source this week, citing AI scanners making public code risky. The same post pointed readers at Cal.diy, the MIT-licensed fork Cal.com itself publishes as the open outlet. Same scheduling engine. Still public. Still scannable by the same tools that allegedly forced the closure. Engineers read the second tab in hours. The security argument holds only if no one clicks it. Compliance language dressing up a commercial decision is not new.

▪ if someone is infodumping, you can mute their toots for a day or an hour.
▪ if they are using a hashtag for an event or topic, you can block that hashtag.

i know it is hardly the worst thing Mozilla has done to the community but after the SpreadFirefox campaign (an early "high profile" #Drupal site!) driven by a huge swath of the Free/Libre and Open Source Software community lo so many years ago it feels like a punch in the face to not have a single mention of ditching Windows entirely as an option on the Firefox page about Microsoft ending Windows 10 support: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-support-windows-10-end-support
(I think i saw a website going around dedicated to helping people make the transition from Windows to different free operating systems?
