I am disabled and Bipolar, on SSDI, I have severe anxiety and bipolar, PTSD, ADD/ADHD. I do not drive. I am poor. I struggle to make ends meet, and I have many unmet needs. I need help to get a home where I can keep until I die. I don’t want to worry about what I am going to eat, I don’t want to go to be hungry anymore, I don’t want to worry about the decline of my mental health, because of lack of care. My health is slowly but steadily declining. I have not had proper care for some time.
If I could raise ~$3 million in a rather short amount of time, I could obtain my own property and home, whether I buy a house and property or vacant property and build my forever home. My realistic ideal budget for property and home along with the necessary things that go with a home, is currently around $500,000 and that is very doable. But lets just say to create my forever home, furnish it stock it with food and all the stuff one needs to live, cost $1.5 million I would still have $1.5 million left in the bank which would give me $37,500 a year for the next 40 years of my life, which is an increase of $25,000 a year over my current $12,000 a year. Which would allow me to cover all my property taxes, utilities, maintenance, food and groceries and basic life costs, and not have to ever worry about what I am going to eat, or where I will sleep and for how long.

What do you do when platforms like #Facebook become unbearable due to a rise of #hatespeech, #ragebait and #scammers but you can’t do much to move your #followers to another #platform, and you can’t seem to get followers at all on other platforms? Like Facebook is where most of my followers are, and I have no way to move them at all to another platform due to it being a closed platform. Should there be a "Pages" widget too?
In working on the drop-down selector to Register different account types I got sidetracked making a "Pages Widget" like the existing "Groups Widget."
One nice thing about the "Groups Widget" is that little [+] that takes you to the Register form to create your own Group. But there isn't anything like that for creating a PAGE. So that was my primary reason for creating the new widget. But it's also nice to have a list of Pages you're following right there in the sidebar. It shows both "Organization" and "News" page account types.
And I made the Pages Widget sortable like everything else in that sidebar. Because this isn't a mock-up, it's functional on my Dev Server. I've only tested it in Frio/Bookface. I still need to check it in Vier.
Hopefully there wasn't some fringe technical reason a Pages Widget didn't already exist.

Since Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam assumed office in early 2025, mere weeks after the November 2024 ceasefire between the Lebanese resistance and the genocidal state of Israel, the new leadership, under strong US and Saudi advice, moved urgently to offer friendship and full cooperation to Israel.
Not only did they fail to protest the more than 10,000 ceasefire violations that Israel committed over the 15 months leading up to the US-Israeli aggression on Iran in late February 2026 - including thousands of air strikes, drone attacks and ground incursions that killed more than 500 people, most of them civilians - but they went as far as offering, even pleading, for direct negotiations to achieve permanent peace with the Jewish settler-colony.
Rather than blaming Israel for its ongoing crimes against the Lebanese people, the two leaders blamed Hezbollah, as if Israeli attacks were a response to the resistance, when in fact the resistance has been retaliating against unceasing Israeli aggression and occupation of Lebanese land."

I am gonna try to migrate my instance from the Ubuntu server it is on to a different server running Alpine. I want a more minimal setup and need to try and get that setup. Plus I am not entirely certain I like the way Ubuntu is going.
