So, I got blocked many times because I was honestly asking if I could publish ads to the Fediverse. It seems like the community's responses are more towards: "No". Okay. I'll try to do some opt-in/voluntary support without the need for me to push ads. Ads are annoying. It's contradictory that I use an ad blocker DNS resolver, but at the same time, I'm considering pushing ads, lol.

You run a single-user instance, so I won't hassle you over the #fediblock. That is your prerogative. Calling us extremists, suspected nazis and paedophilies however has definitely not gone down well with our instance administrator @xaetacore@neondystopia.world.
Everything transmitted over ActivityPub is public and there are registries which keep track of defederation. Having that appear next to our instance name as you can imagine is incredibly damning and slanderous, especially when done for vibes without any hard evidence to support those claims.
We do presently have a problematic user on our instance and we are currently handling those reports in accordance with the policies set out for our instance. If you were to have taken a look over them before making any assumptions, you would know that we are the furthest thing from fascists or extremists as libertarians.

@luce Ich habe mich vor knapp 2 Jahren mit dem Thema beschäftigt. Da mein Vermieter keine PV-Panels am Balkongeländer wollte und ich sowieso noch einen Gartentisch brauchte, habe ich kurzerhand einen Solartisch gebaut: Hoymiles HMS-800W-2T Wechselrichter, Meyer Burger Black 400W Panel und Wiltec 60838 Metall-Tischbeine. Zusammen mit dem ganzen Kleinkram hat das nur knapp über 300 SFr gekostet. Selbst bei meinem recht durchschnittlichen Stromverbrauch hat sich der Tisch nach 3-4 Jahren bereits selbst bezahlt.
Ein grosses Plus: Wenn man eh schon ein Kabel von der Aussensteckdose zum Tisch führt, kann man direkt unter dem Tisch noch weitere Aussensteckdosen anbringen.
Der bürokratische Teil war denkbar einfach: Einfach den Tisch an eine normale Aussensteckdose anschliessen und ein kurzes Anmeldeformular beim Energieversorger ausfüllen, damit er weiss, auf welches Konto er die Einspeisevergütung überweisen kann, fertig.

So, I had a play with GitHub stacked PRs to see what all the fuss is about. Forgive my ignorance, but won’t having all these layers of branches result in a giant mess with too much dependent work in progress? I would much prefer folks (and their agents) to build independently using fakes after agreeing on boundaries and API contracts. Stacked PRs remind me of Gerrit relationship chains, which traumatised me throughout the 2010s. Am I missing something?
