#WordPress: Seit einiger Zeit zählt der Counter in der AdminBar die Kommentare nur hoch. Eigentlich werden dort nur freizugebende Kommentare angezeigt. Bei mir sind alle Kommentare freigegeben. Wenn ich die Administration aufrufe zeigt die AdminBar die korrekte Anzahl an.
Das passiert auch, wenn ich alle Plugins ausschalte. Insofern vermute ich einen Bug in WordPress. Hat das noch jemand außer mir?

Oh boy, just opened Sharkey & I see a lot of the Markdown I tried in my Glitch post doesn't work when shown there.
- Single hash creates bold text in square brackets not even on its own line.
- Double hashes, triple hashes, underlined with three equal signs, underlined with three dashes: all look the same, just bold text.
- Three dashes with no text above doesn't create a horizontal rule, just a line break?
- Lists: nothing is rendered as a list with bullets or numbers, neither separate nor combo: nada, zilch.
- Double grave accents above & below didn't make a code block.
- Underscores did nothing.
What did render:

Oh wow! The newly released version 1.4.0 of the Snow Macintosh emulator now even runs on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2. Previous versions only showed a black screen.
It comfortably fits into the 512 MB of available RAM, using about 50-60% of it. The downside - two CPU cores almost pegged to 100% still only result in about 1/3rd real world speed for compact 68000 Macs (emulating a Mac Classic or Mac Plus in my case). This is slow - considering how slow these machines already were.
But hey, it works!

If this ethics probe is conducted well, it could be an unalloyed good for the People of the #USA and their allies. Everything I know from the social sciences leads to predict that the most corrupt politicians, and the politicians backing the worst policy, are strongly correlated with the ones most prone to #SexualMisconduct. The same mentality drives corruption, antisocial policy, and sexual violence. Purge them from #Congress, and the entire #US government gets materially improved.

I removed all my #Raspberrypi from my network and #NixOS configuration.
Main reason was that I needed to reduce my side projects a bit.
The raspi's were a nice experiment but I just needed to reduce my workload a bit and their hardware and architecture don't help to make things easier.
In addition I set up #Wireguard (when you remove some projects you can start new ones right?) with the plan to have it enabled all the time.
The initial idea was to have a mesh but I have now so few devices that a star made more sense.

This is all eugenics. Any difficulties you're feeling, any survival pressures, any struggles in your line of work. It is an intentional effort to weed out those who can't keep up. There are fewer jobs; this is by design. And they want only the best people in those jobs, by design. They want everyone else sick, crazy, and eventually (as soon as possible), dead.
These aren't cracks we're falling through – they are holes in a sieve.
And those who pass the filter aren't going to be any better off. So what if you're one of those people who hasn't burnt out (yet)? Once they have extracted your vital essence, you will be tossed aside to die, too.
My problems with LinkedIn today are part of this process. My options are:
1. Continue to fight and make problems with them until they restore my account on a site I don't like or want to use anyway. This will leave me stressed and, at this rate, broken.
2. Give up entirely on LinkedIn and start a *different* long, frustrating campaign to get my account deleted. This, as with my Facebook deletion a couple of years ago, will leave me with a much narrower field of career prospects. I will be free of them, but, as I am currently jobless with my bank account already nearly empty, I may to face the real possibility of having to eek out a living without money, maybe as a subsistence farmer with no internet or access to goods I can't make myself.
Does this seem like a double-bind? It is. It is intentional. Because this is what cults do. They make you dependent, then put you in situations you can't win, and where the losing options are all existential.
They may be interested the success of YOUR career, if you are still strong, willing to send over all your private data, and can still be useful to them. But they are not interested in mine, because I am none of these things.
Option #1 feels like I'm back with my abuser in a sick cycle. Option #2 feels like I'm just giving up.
And unlike with my abuser and my cult, there's no "outside society" to flee to anymore. This is it. This IS outside society. This is what we've allowed to happen to everyone.
