Die Wahl des Messengers ist immer ein Kompromiss. Signal und Threema sind beide eine sehr gute Wahl.

@ni_nad Unfortunately, training your own model from scratch requires massive datasets and compute resources. Even for relatively small models. That's why #transparency and #OpenSource on generic LLMs is so important.
Modding existing databases and augmenting them with private databases will be my main use case.
Using LoRA or a similar approach to adapt generic models is within reach for self-hosted hardware.

Let’s face the fact, #mastodon is same toxic place as other social platforms. Similar personal individuals without respect to others opinion. In some cases even worse, yes I am talking about you the anti #AI folks, that I am using AI, architecting enterprise AI systems (eg. for infosec industry), doesn’t mean I am enabling mass surveillance and genocide. I am using and implementing AI responsibly, my tools are in no way to replace humans, they are helping workers with their jobs, so they don’t need to focus on for example repetitive tasks, in no way human can investigate 500+ GB daily logs for patterns. So if you want to verbally attack me, don’t even go close to my private and public space bubble.

Toot tui is pushing Tooi as a replacement, only
Tooi borks with a python timeline validation error
#chawan just infinitely loops proposing a login
#W3M logs in, but like lynx the rendering is messy, not to mention furiosly blinking images. Thankfully I'm no longer epileptic.
It would seem at this first look, that the #fediverse isn't adapted to #terminal clients, or the contrary. I was hoping for some kind of #gopher like result, but so far no luck. Perhaps these two worlds aren't meant to collide.
