Задача звучала элегантно, но всегда есть но, и не одно)) (Спойлер для тех, кому лень читать: я узнал, что Сбербанк формирует WORD-документы с такой XML-вложенностью, что в ней можно заблудиться, ВТБ зачем-то маскирует WORD под RTF, а файл на 10 000 платёжек из 37 мегабайт разворачивается в 1 гигабайт XML. И да, всё по итогу заработало.)

The article was triggered by a discussion on JSON vs JSON-LD I started on SocialHub.
This is imho the biggest pain point of the fediverse: we never specified how an #ActivityPub extension is to be built according to best-practics such that a maximum level of #Interoperability is retained even when the #SocialNetwork balloons by its influx of new participants and apps & service providers.
I don't think our current post-facto interoperability work method - the best-we-have but still poor man's tool - is able to facilitate that kind of growth, and yet people are clamoring for it. Bring it on, they say. But not having much talk on what would be the most likely outcome of that, when it happens.
