Globalny rynek motoryzacyjny hamuje, ale gigant z Wolfsburga nie składa broni. Wyniki za pierwszy kwartał 2026 roku pokazują wyraźnie: widać rosnący popyt na hybrydy plug-in, a jednym z głównych motorów wzrostu koncernu staje się Škoda. Gdzie Volkswagen zyskuje, a gdzie musi mierzyć się z wyzwaniami?
W ujęciu globalnym Grupa Volkswagen dostarczyła w pierwszym kwartale 2,05 miliona pojazdów, co oznacza nieznaczny spadek o 4 procent rok do roku. Mimo to, w tak wymagających warunkach gospodarczych, koncern w dużej mierze utrzymał swój udział w kurczącym się rynku.
Najmocniejszym trendem w portfolio marki jest potężny wzrost dostaw hybryd typu plug-in (PHEV) – skoczyły one o imponujące 31 procent, osiągając pułap 109 000 sztuk. To wyraźny sygnał, że klienci doceniają modele nowej generacji, które oferują dziś ponad 140 km zasięgu na samym prądzie.
Europejska stabilność i czeski as w rękawie
W Europie koncern radzi sobie znakomicie. Całkowite dostawy na Starym Kontynencie wzrosły o 4,7 procent (do ponad 983 tysięcy aut). Co więcej, portfel zamówień w tym regionie powiększył się o 15 procent w porównaniu z grudniem 2025 roku.
Absolutnym wygranym w portfolio Grupy jest jednak Škoda. Czeska marka zaliczyła wzrost ogólnej sprzedaży o 14 procent, dostarczając klientom 271 900 sztuk. Jeszcze bardziej imponująco wyglądają jej wyniki w segmencie aut w pełni elektrycznych (BEV) – tutaj Škoda urosła o niemal 92 procent.
Królem całego elektrycznego zestawienia Volkswagena nie jest żaden model z rodziny ID, lecz właśnie czeski produkt:
- Pierwsze miejsce zajmuje Škoda Elroq z wynikiem 29 700 sprzedanych egzemplarzy.
- Drugą pozycję wywalczyły wspólnie VW ID.4 oraz ID.5 (25 000 sztuk).
- Podium zamyka Škoda Enyaq z wynikiem 22 100 sztuk.
Zadyszka za oceanem i w Azji
O ile Europa oraz Ameryka Południowa (wzrost o 7 procent) trzymają się mocno, tak rynki w USA i Chinach stanowiły w minionym kwartale poważne wyzwanie.
W Ameryce Północnej całkowite dostawy skurczyły się o 13,3 procent, a kluczowy rynek amerykański stracił 20,5 procent. Jeszcze drastyczniej wygląda tam sprzedaż aut elektrycznych. Tąpnięcie o 80,1 procent to bezpośrednie pokłosie wygaśnięcia rządowych dopłat oraz wejścia w życie nowych, podwyższonych ceł (obowiązujących od kwietnia 2025 roku).
Podobnie złożona sytuacja ma miejsce w Chinach. Choć marka Volkswagen podsumowała kwartał jako utrzymujący się lider tego ogromnego rynku, całkowite dostawy w regionie spadły o 14,8 procent. Sprzedaż „elektryków” stopniała tam o blisko 64 procent. Koncern tłumaczy to okresem przejściowym przed wprowadzeniem zupełnie nowych, lokalnie projektowanych modeli BEV, które mają wkrótce odwrócić ten trend.
Volkswagen utrzymuje pozycję, ale wyraźnie widać, że globalny układ sił ulega przemianom — i to w tempie, które zmusza giganta z Wolfsburga do błyskawicznej adaptacji na kluczowych rynkach.

One thing I was considering early on in my #Mastodon journey was bringing hosting in house if I stick around. That was a few years ago, so maybe it’s time.
My preference would be #gotosocial but somehow I have trust issues moving followers from one account / domain to another.

I updated my Arch PC the day before yesterday but completely forgot to reboot. Fast forward to 05:00 today: I finally restart, only to find myself locked out. I typed my LUKS password over and over again, but it kept failing.
After taking a deep breath, I remembered (more like retreated to my daily logs) something crucial. I had not actually rebooted in over two weeks, and just last week I was messing around with some /etc/ configs--specifically, changing my layout to Dvorak.
One quick search for a 'Dvorak keyboard image' later, I tapped out the password and LUKS unlocked.
If I had not logged that random config test in my vault, I would probably be reinstalling my entire OS right now! 😭
Keep logs people, they are important.

1. This isn’t about you, it’s about our friends in Gaza.
2. Our friends in Gaza are adults like us who can make their own decisions about things like whether they show their faces or share their photos on Mastodon, just like we do.
3. We can inform our friends in Gaza about privacy issues but we cannot tell them to do anything. We are not their parents. And they are not children. That’s a very paternalistic and, dare I say, colonial view.
4. By making it appear that they shouldn’t be sharing any photos of themselves, etc., there’s a very real danger of getting them to auto-erase themselves online while Israel is already trying to do that. There is a balance here that I believe you are missing. Their survival also depends on making genuine connections with people in the outside world. Your constant attempts to get them to stop sharing photos of their lives and experiences is pushing them to use AI-generated images, for example, which is making their accounts look like scammers. They are starting to make their accounts and posts look inauthentic, and helping contribute to their erasure. Which is what the Zionists want.
5. Our friends in Palestine have been living their entire lives under surveillance and know the risks better than we do. Privacy is about threat models. It’s an area I know a thing or two about myself having worked for a third of my life in it. Your efforts, while well meaning, are having a negative effect. Not least of all on our tiny team of volunteers whose limited time is spent dealing with your constant displeasure instead of helping our friends in Gaza.
Personally, I will be muting you as I do not have the time to function as your personal support department. We will also make it very clear that no one has the right to dictate how our Palestinian friends use Mastodon or the fediverse and that any advice is just that: advice.
And for anyone from the West reading this, please be careful not paternalise our friends in Gaza.
We do not know better than they do and we do not have the right to dictate a separate set of rules for them. We can advise them of existing rules and norms if violating them can have a negative impact on them and their accounts and we can try and help if they are persecuted for who they are but we do not get to tell them how to use Mastodon or the fediverse any more than we get to tell anyone from the West.
Gaza Verified simply verifies, via video calls where one of our volunteers from Gaza is present, that they are Palestinian from Gaza. And, if their account is limited or suspended for who they are, we will advocate in their behalf or help them move to a server that isn’t complicit in genocide. That’s it. That’s all we can do with a tiny team of volunteers. Verification is not a character reference. We are not their parents. And it is not our job, or anyone else’s, to tell them how they should be using Mastodon or the fediverse.

Tweaks, updates and a good old-fashioned spring-clean 🧹 The Leaflet Lion website was one of the key resources driving record figures for tax year 25/26 🎉 (almost made up for 24/25 being the worst ever 🤣).
