I spent much of the day figuring out how to install and use iPython and Spyder. (I installed iPython yesterday.)
Both tools really want you to use Anaconda and the Conda package manager, probably because both are related to the Jupyter project. However in my experience Anaconda does not play well with a regular installation of #Python – so I installed both using pipx and they seem to work fine, although I'm getting warning messages with Spyder because Wayland.
Has anyone used these? Thoughts?
