Russia launched a massive overnight attack across Ukraine, hitting multiple regions and civilian areas. At least five people were killed, and more than 30 were wounded.

Η επίθεση στην ιδιωτικότητα και την ανωνυμία στο διαδίκτυο ξεδιπλώνεται με γρήγορους ρυθμούς. Είναι επιτακτική η ανάγκη δημιουργίας ενός κινήματος υπεράσπισης της ανωνυμίας ως απαραίτητο στοιχείο για τη Δημοκρατία. Παράλληλα χρειάζεται να ξεκινήσει μια συζήτηση για το τι θα σημάνουν αυτές οι εξελίξεις για μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης όπως το Mastodon. Πιστεύω ότι οι peer-to-peer τεχνολογίες θα παίξουν σημαντικό ρόλο στο εγγύς μέλλον.

Ich finde es echt schade, dass auch gerade Organisationen immer nur auf der Instanz mastodon.social landen. Denn erfahrungsgemäß werden die niemals die Instanz wechseln.
Und gerade z.B. auch Umweltorganisationen oder deren Gruppen. Aktuell z.B. der neu hier registrierte #NABU in #Diepholz.
Instanzen wie z.B. mastodon.green wären da ein deutlich besseres Zuhause.

Ich wünschte sie würden den Mut aufbringen, wenn sie hier angekommen sind auch auf eine Instanz zu wechseln, die ihre Sache unterstützt. So ein Instanzwechsel tut schließlich nicht weh. Kostet keine Follower und bedeutet nicht neu anzufangen. Ein Instanzwechsel ist Teil der Gene des #Fediverse.
