@Cali I had a misunderstanding of LXC vs Docker and thought I needed to run the equivalent LXC in Proxmox instead. The containers I run probably should remain in Docker for easier management and lower overhead.
So the new plan is to put Docker in a VM and run my containers there. Proxmox adds a layer of flexibility that I’m still learning to understand.

Mich von #Meta zu lösen war nicht so schwer, die haben nix zu bieten was mich interessiert. Nachdem #Whatsapp das erste mal gedroht hat, seine AGBs zu unserem Nachteil zu ändern, hab ich die Familie auf #Threema umgestellt und war weg.
#Microsoft hat auch eigentlich mühelos funktioniert. Dualboot mit #Linux hatte ich schon, und als der alte Rechner mit #Win10 starb, bekam der neue nur noch #Nobara.
(Ja, dienstlich hab ichs noch. Gehört aber nicht mir, muss ich nicht administrieren, und darf ich auch nicht für privates Gedöns nutzen. Zählt also nicht.)
#Google is schon schwieriger. #GrapheneOS gibt/gab es nur auf Google Hardware. Und auch wenn ich auf #Nextcloud umgestellt hab (und damit sehr happy bin), hab ich nach über einem Jahr immer noch nicht alle über OpenID oder auch nur per Mail auf google lautende Logins umgestellt. Das is echte harte arbeit.
Die Suche ist eher ein linguistisches Problem. Ich schwanke zwischen verschiedenen Alternativen, aber die Verben dazu funktionieren nicht.
"Lass mich das startpagen." / "Das muss ich mal qwanten." 😆 / "Let me ecosia that for you." Nich so richtig der Brüller.
#Spotify war kein Problem, bin ich halt zu lokaler Musik zurückgekehrt. #DisneyPlus und #Netflix hatte ich eh immer nur für für vielleicht einen Monat im Jahr, um etwas spezifisches zu gucken. Brauch ich nicht, krieg ich über die #Stadtbibliothek.
#Twitter und #Reddit waren auch kein Problem, dafür gibt es ja das #Fediverse.
#Amazon hab ich erst vor kurzem gekündigt. Und obwohl ich mich ständig über die nutzlosen Beschreibungen und KI-Bilder aufrege, die nichts über das Produkt aussagen weil sie nicht echt sind, ist es echt mühselig, die zu umgehen. Nicht nur sind die überall, in den Suchergebnissen immer ganz oben, es gibt auch viel zu viele Platformen, die nur eine Beschreibung bieten und dann einen Affiliate-Link wieder zu Amazon.
Ein Kollege hat mich angesprochen, warum ich denn #Paypal hätte (weil ich bei den ganzen anderen Themen so rigoros bin). Hatter ja Recht.
Das ist das nächste, was ich eben erst angefangen habe, anzugehen. Hier gibt es keine richtige Alternative. Hab jetzt zwar eine Kreditkarte meiner Bank (die keinen Kredit bietet, sondern eine weitere Karte zum Konto ist), aber z.B. #Wero bietet meine Bank noch nicht, haben auch die Freunde und Kollegen nicht, wenn ich mal wieder Schulden begleichen möchte.
Selbst über mehrere Dienste verteilt ist das für mich noch ein ungelöstes Problem.
