Semaphor har i begyndelsen af 2026 indgået en samarbejdsaftale med den norske it-virksomhed Brainworker AS med henblik på at tilbyde komplette open source it-løsninger til det norske marked.
Brainworker har et grundigt kendskab til den offentlige sektor i Norge og har kontakt til en række norske kommuner og offentlige institutioner. Semaphor bidrager med dyb teknisk viden på open source området, erfaring som open source samarbejdspartner med Statens IT samt en række originale open source produkter, der uden besvær kan tilpasses norske standarder.
Brainworker og Semaphor ønsker i fællesskab at sælge og drive open source it løsninger i Norge. I den forbindelse udtaler direktør for Brainworker AS Arne Sigurd Rognan Nielsen:
“For norske kommuner og offentlige virksomheder er kontrol over egen data, efterlevelse af lovgivning og langsigtet forudsigelighed afgørende. I en tid med øget afhængighed af globale, proprietære it løsninger repræsenterer open source et strategisk og fremtidsrettet valg for det offentlige Norge –uden at gå på kompromis med funktionalitet og sikkerhed.”

Highlights from BTS Day 2 in Tampa: A Fan’s Recap
For fans of BTS, Day 2 of BTS in Tampa honestly felt like a dream to wake up from. The energy in the stadium was unreal the entire night and you could tell the members were feeding off ARMY’s passion. Every performance hit but what really stood out for this self admitted fan was hearing some of the newer songs like “Hooligan” and “Body to Body” live. They sound insane in person. The bass, the vocals, the choreography all hits so much harder than you expect. You could feel the crowd collectively losing it the moment those songs started. It made me appreciate them on a whole different level.
Then the encore came, and it just took everything to another level. When “Boy With Luv” started, the whole stadium lit up—everyone singing together, waving light sticks, just pure happiness everywhere. The boys looked so genuinely happy, running around and interacting with us, and it felt like one big celebration.
Finally Day 2 was blessed like no other Army with “Pied Piper” and I’m still not over it. The vibe switch was unreal with everything feeling smooth, a little dangerous and everyone around me screaming and jumping, and completely captivating. The way they performed it, their expressions, the way they knew what they were doing to us… yeah, it was over for all of us. The members were legit happy and it was great to see.
It would not be a BTS concert if the one song that got me through the COVID quarantine didn’t play.

Those final moments were perfect, fun, emotional, and unforgettable. Day 2 in Tampa wasn’t just a concert, it was a core memory. Being there as ARMY meant everything, and I already miss it so much. 💜

Habe mich mal oberflächlich eingelesen. Wire scheint #opensource. Auf den ersten Blick via github. Aber die Software ist für cloud-einsatz gemacht, im eigenen RZ, closed group, ohne anbindung nach draußen. Das ITZ bietet wire-accounts bei denen das phishing so wie hier schwer möglich ist. Weil closed group. Also best practice für Behörden. Vielleicht hilft der "Hack" ja das richtige zu tun, egal welches Produkt. Wire ist aus Berlin, hat aber subsid. in USA und unterliegt damit auch deren Gesetz.

The book doesn't acknowledge media theory, which has been examining the effects of digital media technologies for decades and lacks deeper research. Suggestions? I have a bunch of services hosted at one cloud provider. They do not work well under #kubernetes, so they are hosted individually on small virtual machines (1 CPU, 1-2 GiB memory).
I'm moving to another cloud provider, #Scaleway, who doesn't provide that small instances and (obviously) larger instances are more expensive. Also, Scaleway is charging quite a bit for public IPv4 addresses, so I'd either have to put them behind NAT (I already have that set up) or consolidate to reduce IP address use.
What do?
I could either eat the cost, host multiple services on a single VM, or set up another layer of virtualization to split out the machines, but neither option is particularly nice. Am I overlooking something obvious?
The applications are #Pleroma (really #Akkoma), #Ghost, and #Peertube. Pleroma is written in Erlang, so it's not really possible to build Docker images for it. Last I looked, Peertube didn't have nice Docker images. Ghost does have a beta Dockerized version, so while I don't want to deal with that right now, I can just eat the cost for that temporarily.
I've already picked a cloud provider, so using another one is not an option, and Scaleway's Stardust instances are not an option as you can only have one of those per region.
