Tobacco shouldn't be legal & it wouldn't be if someone tried to introduce it today as a new product.
By drawing this comparison we're essentially saying that social media shouldn't be allowed to do as much harm as they want to - but they should still be allowed to do A LOT! of harm.
You know, just like tobacco, the cause of millions of deaths every single fucking year.

Good Lord do I wish they'd rather headline these with something like "The fight can begin", rather than this "Welp, it's all fixed now!" framing.
The reality is there in the text, but headlines set the tone & this is one of those topics which require the proper gravitas.
Also, this is as much a problem for adults as for children & advocates should be extremely careful to make this clear or we'll get some stupid age ban quick fix.

I spent the last few hours removing the existing frontend, adding the new scaffolding (partially based on Loops) and creating reusable components based on our new design system to keep everything consistent.
Performance has improved noticeably by removing middleware that checked 2FA and valid email on every request, as we now handle that during authentication.
Can't wait to ship this ASAP, and for the Loops fam, I'll be back 😎

2. Export your user-passwords from web browsers you use and make the same on 1
3. Choose a private and E2ECC service i recommend proton.me with a mail and download protón mail, proton pass and autenticathor
4. Now you must log in in each web service and deleting account if It is not critical for you and if its critical change the mail for an alias on protón pass
5. Always use a VPN, protón VPN its mine
6. Look for alternativas for each service from bigtech

Ach? Jetzt auf einmal? Nur weil der Spiegel mit jounalistischen Mitteln ein bisschen Klarheit gebracht hat oder weil die Justiz in Spanien sofort zu ermitteln begann im Gegensatz zur deutschen Justiz?
Die deutsche Justiz ist inzwischen eine Lachnummer. Gefährliche Verdächtige müssen aus der U-Haft entlassen werden, weil die Justiz Anklagen nicht zusammenbekommen, Zustellungen durch Gerichtsvollzieher dauern 4 Wochen, Eröffnungen von Gerichtsverfahren dauern 3 Jahre.
Die deutsche Justiz ist genauso marode wie die Deutsche Bahn!

Недавно в рамках учебного проекта столкнулся с задачей: нужно было сделать интеграцию с платёжным сервисом. Они присылают уведомление (вебхук), когда пользователь оплатил заказ, а я должен обновить статус в базе. Поначалу я думал: «Что тут сложного? Просто эндпоинт напишу». Но когда начал копаться глубже, выяснилось, что всё не так просто. В этой статье хочу рассказать, как я пришёл от простого скрипта к архитектуре с очередью задач, и какие грабли при этом собрал. Надеюсь, мой опыт поможет другим новичкам не наступать на те же шишки.
