- updating thousands of links in ~970 files (readme's, media, API docs/snippets in source files, examples, wiki etc.)
- updated 215 package short links to point to new locations on Codeberg
- re-configured & re-uploaded hundreds of megabytes of package API docs to https://docs.thi.ng/ (with new backlinks to Codeberg)

Trying to asynchronously send a MIDI clock message, but the interval is always a bit longer than what I tell it to loop over. I tell it 120 beats per minute, but my MIDI device tells me it's clocking at 114 BPM.
Why is the loop interval not being honored with my code?

Just finished this 3D dual grid texturing system. It kicked my ass, but I'm so glad it's working!
I'd like to do a bigger writeup on my Patreon soon, but If you're curious about how it works:
The terrain is generated with tiles that are a dual-grid. That is, each Graphical Tile defines the corners of 8 adjacent Logic/Terrain Tiles.
This drastically reduces the number of tile shapes I need; terrain just uses 14 shapes, instead of hundreds!
But it also means each tile can have up to 8 different textures matching each of its neighbors. Which is tricky to do on the GPU instead of the CPU!
Rather than redoing the tiles, I created a system that paints tiles with Vertex Colors, which show what areas are part of what corners. I also pass each tile mesh a set of 8 texture IDs for which texture each corner will need.
This means all terrain in the world uses a single material and texture atlas, which can look up the right textures on the GPU, draw borders with its neighbors, etc. I'm very happy!

Inhaltlich teile ich die Kritik, lehne es jedoch ab, die Namen von Politikerinnen zu verhöhnen und zu verniedlichen.
Es muss doch möglich sein, auch auf #Mastodon über die Politik von Christdemokratinnen wie Katherina #Reiche oder Ursula #vonderLeyen kritisch & konstruktiv zu diskutieren, ohne sie als "GasKathi", "FlintenUschi" usw. abzuwerten.
Mir ist bewusst, dass Du das sicher so nicht meinst, aber für mich schwingt in diesen höhnischen Verkleinerungen mackerhafter & oft linker #Sexismus mit. So', 'atproto' is a protocol that is only used by Bluesky and it's projects, and by developers to create apps in the General Bluesky Vibe (stylising as _gBV*)?
Have I got this right (basically) ?
Never used to care as long as I wasn't using asshole owned platforms. But maybe some of the more subtle 'background stuff' that I wasn't previously particularly aware of or concerned with matters to me too. I don't see Bluesky as 'harmful' in any way, it's maybe not what I thought.

Struggling a bit with the whole hashtag review section in admin/moderation. Surely, as a single-user instance, this is about content that I am/am not interested in? So if I say 'Not Trendable', or 'Not Used' (eg.) then that's okay? If this is how it works why do some tags come back asking for a review? To change my mind?
