Fedibook groups just got a major rewrite.
Groups now work as a ActivityPub group actors — meaning members from Mastodon, Pixelfed, and other Fediverse platforms can join and participate, not just Fedibook users.
Invite a @mastodon.social friend to your group, they accept the follow request, and group posts start appearing in their home timeline. They can post back via DM. It just works.
On Fedibook, groups looks just like that face-thing.

Dass es das auch nicht nur in der Politik gibt, belegte gerade der Vorstandsvorsitzende von Rheinmetall, Armin Papperger. Gegenüber einem US-Medium verspottete er die beeindruckende Drohnenflotte der Ukraine u.a. mit den Worten: "Das ist keine Innovation". Die Herstellenden seien "ukrainische Hausfrauen" und im Übrigen: "So spielt man mit Lego."
Ich finde das etwa im Hinblick auf die Sting nicht nur sachlich falsch, sondern gegenüber den oft heldenhaft kämpfenden Frauen & Männern in der Ukraine auch schlicht unwürdig. They currently have limited registerations due to the flood of people coming to the platform. They support markdowns (full) and also CSS themes (like you can create themes for people to use)

One British woman who now lives in Germany has shared a number of things she was surprised by when arriving in her new home - including one which she said "would put most Brits in a coma". Livi, an actress from Devon, shared the culture shocks she had experienced since moving to the European country in September last year.
And one involving the dress code in saunas caught her off guard. Writing in a TikTok video, she said: "I can't take photos of this for obvious reasons, so here's a fun wooden spoon I found instead. I know the 'dress code' is the same in other European countries, but not in Britain (and I think it would put most Brits into a coma)."
One commenter asked for more information, saying: "Wait can u elaborate on the dress code in saunas? What's so different?" Livi replied: "You're naked in German saunas!"...
