正直に言うと、その行動はあまり良くありません。
公園にゴミ箱が無い場合でも、基本的には「持ち帰り」が前提になっていることが多いです。置いていくと、景観が悪くなるだけでなく、動物が荒らしたり、他の人にも「置いていいんだ」と思わせてしまうことがあります。
ただ、「悪い人だ」と決めつける話ではなくて、
* ゴミ箱が見当たらなかった
* どうしても持ち帰れない事情があった
みたいな状況もあり得ますよね。
大事なのは次からどうするかです。例えば：
* 小さな袋を持ち歩く
* コンビニなどで捨てられる場所を探す
* 家まで持ち帰る
こういった工夫をすれば、同じことは防げます。
もし少し気になっているなら、その感覚はちゃんと健全です。次に活かせば十分ですよ。

I think I might be getting ready for an entirely different work direction, as the #webdev #drupal market seems to have died.
It's been too long since I've had meaningful work, however need to find a new direction that pays enough to keep things afloat at home.

A thought about legacy code styles, and esoteric-but-works code styles:
I found code that looks like this in a composer-loaded library recently:
static function load() {
$args = func_get_args();
$data = array_shift($args);
$type = array_shift($args);
...
}
which really confused static code analysis tools that you'd use in an IDE. You're supposed to always call load() with a data and type parameter, but they didn't declare it as such.
Is it worth a pull request with phpdoc?

We stumbled on a real-life problem nobody talks about, and honestly, people don’t share it because they don’t think it can happen to them. But it can. AI is already making decisions about real people — filtering out CVs before a human ever sees them, or shutting down Instagram and Facebook accounts instantly. We personally know 2 cases. And here’s the real problem — they can’t even post about it, because they’re gone from platform. So nobody sees it, and nobody talks about it.

"Last year, a team of American and Chinese researchers published an analysis of international research collaborations. Their machine-learning model identified the lead authors of nearly 6 million scientific teams to see who was actually in charge. The team found that among U.S.-China collaborations, the share of leaders who were affiliated with Chinese institutions had grown from 30 percent in 2010 to 45 percent in 2023. The researchers projected that China will pull even with the U.S. next year or in 2028 at the latest.
In the end, China’s scientific-superpower status will likely depend on the world-changing force of its discoveries. “We don’t just want papers,” Yian Yin, a professor of information science at Cornell, told me. “We want papers that turn into real theoretical insights or technologies.” Some of these can be tracked by looking at how research is cited in patent applications, but this additional diffusion can introduce its own lag of 10 years or more. Even so, China’s fast rise in the applied sciences is already obvious, Yin said. The country is in the midst of a solarpunk revolution. Thanks to its advances in chemistry and materials science, China has caught up with or surpassed the U.S. in the design and manufacture of advanced batteries, electric vehicles, and solar cells—key technologies for the 21st century."

The measure could also limit consumers’ ability to take car manufacturers to court over defective parts. It is part of a broader multistate liability reform campaign Uber is backing ahead of its $1.25 billion plan to unleash robotaxis on a massive scale.
The California proposal, dubbed the “Protecting Automobile Accident Victims from Attorney Self-Dealing Act,” is slated for the November midterm election. It would require crash victims to keep 75 percent of their total settlement awards, leaving lawyers and hospitals to split the remaining 25 percent.
Uber has reportedly spent more than $30 million backing the initiative, which would apply to all automobile crash settlements in the state, not just those involving rideshare companies.
Supporters say the measure would put more money in victims’ pockets. But critics warn it could have the opposite effect, making it harder for car crash victims to find legal representation.
Many lawyers agree to take on such lawsuits on the condition that they will be paid only if their client wins. The 25 percent cap would not cover litigation costs in many cases, according to the California-based Dolan Law Firm, which helped craft the state’s rideshare insurance laws.
“If there is no viable way to be reimbursed, no firm can afford to cover these costs,” the firm wrote in a December blog post. “If attorneys cannot afford to take cases, victims lose access to legal representation.”"

He might even start entertaining the possibility that, whatever the intrinsic motivations of such Iranian “proxies” as Hamas and Hezbollah, they, too, from Iran’s point of view, are meant to serve a deterrent function. (It was only after Israel degraded both to the point of near-impotence that it started launching military assaults on Iran—so apparently they had indeed been serving that function.)"

One of the blessings of the #fediverse I don't find on algorithmic platforms is when #transphobia comes up and I go see what new nightmare awaits, I regularly find so many comrads and #trans allies to follow and connect with. It's hard to explain how small my real world circle of people that naturally just understand or try to understand is. Wandering into comments that are more often trying to be supportive than any other place on the internet reduces that feeling of vast alienation and isolation. It's nice to not just be generally welcome, but meeting people genuinely being welcoming.

Working out how many barrels the world’s greatest sanctions-dodger exports is hard. Its tankers are more furtive than ever, commercial providers of satellite imagery have paused their updates for the region and electronic scrambling has thrown a fog across the Gulf. But a source with knowledge of Iran’s oil accounting, who spoke to The Economist on condition of anonymity, confirms the country is currently exporting 2.4m-2.8m barrels of oil and petroleum products per day (b/d), including 1.5m-1.8m b/d of crude. The creep of relentlessly improving AI will render so much of the human content on the internet indistinguishable from AI.
A prediction:
'Verified human' or AI-free platforms will attract a premium. Human made and genuine human-to-human online communications will be prized.
#Mastodon will be rewarded in due course for bucking the #AI trend and remaining resolutely human (less of course the clearly labelled reposting bots. Reposting is not the same as an agentic AI profile freely engaging online).
