So prices for 2026 #DrupalCon in the US were: $575 for early bird, $700 regular and $850 for "late". All tickets over 20% cheaper across the board.

But in Europe: 650€ for early bird, 895€ for regular and a whooping 1165€ for "late". The only thing cheaper from Vienna 2025 is early bird.

This is for a conference that does not pay accommodation or travel to speakers.

Thanks to the licensed model I guess, private companies must profit from the #Drupal European community.

Why? I (@alxhu) came across the Mastodon Trademark Guidelines about one month ago, which prophibit the usage of the Mastodon wordmark in the domain name without written permission by the Mastodon GmbH.

When I created this instance, I didn't knew this. I immediatly asked for permission but didn't recieve an answer (even after messaging multiple times again), so I assume the answer is no

Psychische Krisen nehmen zu, Therapieplätze fehlen. Dennoch wird nun das Honorar für die Psychotherapeut:innen gekürzt. Während Kassen von Kostenexplosion sprechen, warnen Fachleute vor einer weiteren Verschärfung der Versorgungslage, denn die Vergütung für psychotherapeutische Leistungen wird ab April um 4,5 % gekürzt.

Kritik kommt auch von der „Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Nervenheilkunde“ (DGPPN), die von einem „falschen Signal für die seelische Gesundheit“ spricht und die Kürzungen scharf kritisiert.
