Mein #bluesky Account ist Geschichte. Lang lebe der europäische Account #leafplaza, der an Bluesky durch das AT-Protocol hängt und somit voll verbunden ist.
Aktuell wird mein BS-Account (über 30GB groß!) von den tollen Support-Leuten bei Leaf Plaza hinüber gehievt, nachdem das Migrations-Tool Moover bei der Menge an Daten die Grätsche machte. Sobald dieser Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, sollten so ziemlich alle meine Daten, Follower, Beiträge etc. wieder via Bluesky, aber auf dem EU-Server verfügbar sein. Es bleibt spannend.
Eines kann ich jetzt schon sagen. Die Leaf Plaza-App ist deutlich besser programmiert (bislang sind mir keine Glitches oder Bugs aufgefallen) als die Bluesky App für #ios.
Leider gibt es von Leaf Plaza noch kein Web-Frontend. Aber sie arbeiten daran. Auch soll es von ihnen selbst bald wohl ein Migrations-Tool geben, das den Umzug erleichtert.
Ansonsten fühlt sich Leaf Plaza eigentlich exakt so an wie Bluesky. Was Raum für Verbesserungen lässt. Aber ich kann gerade nicht beurteilen, inwiefern das AT-Protocol hier nicht vielleicht die Grenzen setzt. Da bin ich nicht in der Materie drin.
Ich kann nur jedem Bluesky-Verwender empfehlen, den Schritt zu wagen hin zu einem europäischen Server, denn ich denke, dass sich die Situation in Bezug auf die #usa und die sozialen Netze dort bald deutlich verschlechtern könnte.
Und Bluesky ist und bleibt ein US-amerikanisches Konsortium unter der Jurisdiktion der USA. Und damit unter #trump! ...

There’s an issue with telegram. You should either 1) set to receive messages only from contacts and premium members (only available on telegram premium) and/or 2) uninstall the native app on your device and use the web version - it at least adds a layer of protection.
